Nathan epiphany was solely sung by JIN including the BACKGROUND VOCALS!!!! His voice is so stable that he can effortlessly switch from his head voice to his chest voice, still provided with a natural vibration and a pleasing falsetto which is an extremely strong advantage.
All the vocals you can hear were all Jin's voice. Jin will always be the Grammy's one & only Silver Vocalist. He is one of the greatest vocalist in the world! as Jungkook once said "no one can sing this kind of song better than jin", and that's absolutely true.

Very well said. Obviously he's into Jimin so much that he forgot to give credit where the credit is due. He's a singer I know he knows how to differentiate between two voices it's just sad that he overlooked the other boys because obviously he's a solo stan. I love Jimin but we need to appreciate all of them.

I tend to agree with you. This is a Jin solo song so how can Jimin be doing the high notes. Nothing against Jimin but also disappointed with the reactor. This is not the only time he gives credit or mention another name. In the Fix You cover, all of Jin's parts like his high note at the triple blend with Jimin and RM (if am not mistaken, he mentions V. And in his Jin's best part of belting towards the end, he mentions again it was V. No mention of Jin when he was highly praised by people in his performance. Everyone deserves the praise in this cover but credit should be given where credit is due.

Do not assume that high backing vocals are always of Jimin or Jungkook because Jin himself is a vocal King!! Strong ballads with strong vocals are his thing and he is a true ace in this genre. Jimin and JK are amazing vocalist (and Taehyung also ofcourse) but people tend to overlook and underestimate Jin. I hope you will watch more of his ballads and see his range and talent.

That's all Jin baby! Saw this performed live twice and the live you watched didn't do it justice. 4.5 years later and Epiphany is still the performance I remember most those concerts. Jin and an entire stadium of 60k people singing "I'm the one I should love in this world" was life changing. And don't even get me started on him hitting those high notes live! It was unreal.

I love Seokjin so much, he has an amazing voice. He has worked so hard on his technique. Even in Super Tuna, which was done for fun, his vocals are fantastic! My favorite of his is Abyss, it just resonates with me, and it is beautiful

This song lives in my 💜 & soul on good days & bad. And knowing who Jin is at heart makes it even more powerful. This is one of my BTS stuck on a desert island songs. All 4 Vocalist are main voclists that's why they take things in turn to shine, be it a complete solo song or just the vocalists song or the whole group song. No ego's in BTS they share and grow together learning new things together. No one is stuck in one position doing only one thing like in many Western 'Boy Bands'. That way no one get bored or feels suppressed they all grow and flex heir muscles in different area's eg artist development.
Woohoo! Jin! Thank you for taking this time to appreciate his famous song, Nate. He has totally blown me away with his humility. I remember one day I was vacuuming in the closet and he went live on TH-cam and in front of millions of people started practicing piano, admitting that he was still a learner. One of my favorites of his songs is called Abyss, which he wrote during a time of intense imposter syndrome.

I remember your reaction to the Fix You cover which was disappointing. All of Jin's good parts, you thought they were V when he has a baritone voice. Nothing against V. The highest note at the triple blend was Jin. Camera even focused on him. The beautiful belt towards the end of the song was also Jin. Camera focused on him as well and then to V so how can both be the same person. If you are not sure who sang a part, don't assume but instead ask a question and tell your viewers to comment.

To give you some idea of how much you're missing, the actual live is about almost 5 minutes long (4:43). If you search for Jin - Epiphany live in Japan, there's a full performance with the lyrics. It is absolutely fantastic and you can hear Jin sing those breathtaking high notes at the end. BTW the backup vocals are actually Jin - they usually are for his solos.
Jin was in college, studying acting, when BigHit's talent scout 'discovered' him getting off a bus. He was signed to BigHit based on his looks alone...he had never sang or danced before becoming a trainee. That's why Jin's somewhat insecure when talking about his amazing voice. He feels his other BTS members have devoted much more time & effort to their talents, while he's a newbie... despite their chastising him & acknowledging his remarkable voice. Korea named him 'The Silver Voice' for his soaring vocals. What's unique to Jin's singing/dancing is he naturally incorporates his acting skills into both his MV & on-stage performances. Jin's high notes are often mistakenly credited to Jimin... or it can sometimes be both singing together.
This video looks like it is from a music tv show. You should react to his live in a concert video. He was discovered while getting off the bus on his way to college. He came into the trainee program and learned to sing and dance, but you wouldn't know it by how beautifully he sings and dances. He is very self-effacing even though he kids about being World Wide Handsome (WWH). This is the song that actually made me ARMY. It was my wake up call to take care of myself 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

there have been times you've mistaken the high part done by jin, as jimin. per jk, jin has the broadest range. also, that version was from a music show (attended by live audience), not a bts concert.

Reading all the comments below, I truly feel sorry to all those ARMY who have tried so hard explaining how special and talented Jin is, cause I have a feeling that this dude doesn't care and won't understand. He seems still have trouble to accept the fact that all 4 vocalists in BTS are equally talented (perhaps due to the classic 'western' boyband mindset he has) or he might just do all these reactions for the purpose of getting views

My thoughts exactly. If he truly cared about his viewers he would redo this reaction as many have requested. To me he didn't seem interested in watching Epiphany so I don't think he'll bother to watch a full live version.

I love Seokjin so much, he has an amazing voice. He has worked so hard on his technique. Even in Super Tuna, which was done for fun, his vocals are fantastic! My favorite of his is Abyss, it just resonates with me, and it is beautiful

This song lives in my 💜 & soul on good days & bad. And knowing who Jin is at heart makes it even more powerful. This is one of my BTS stuck on a desert island songs. There are some great clips of the guys goofing around and singing it all together too. This song mean a lot to a whole lotta people. So yeah, cover it!!?

This is a Jin solo. The background vocals are all Jin's. Sometimes you think it's Jimin but no! Jin's high notes are as amazing as all other 3 vocalists and even higher. Check out Moon and Awake. btw, Jimin bias here... hehe! I love the you really love Jimin's voice like I do but... Jin's voice is special too.
All 4 Vocalist are main voclists that's why they take things in turn to shine, be it a complete solo song or just the vocalists song or the whole group song. No ego's in BTS they share and grow together learning new things together. No one is stuck in one position doing only one thing like in many Western 'Boy Bands'. That way no one get bored or feels suppressed they all grow and flex heir muscles in different area's eg artist development.
Woohoo! Jin! Thank you for taking this time to appreciate his famous song, Nate. He has totally blown me away with his humility. I remember one day I was vacuuming in the closet and he went live on TH-cam and in front of millions of people started practicing piano, admitting that he was still a learner. One of my favorites of his songs is called Abyss, which he wrote during a time of intense imposter syndrome.
Sorry but you had to give more credit to Jin please. This is his solo song so why would Jimin be doing high notes. Nothing against Jimin. I remember your reaction to the Fix You cover which was disappointing. All of Jin's good parts, you thought they were V when he has a baritone voice. Nothing against V. The highest note at the triple blend was Jin. Camera even focused on him. The beautiful belt towards the end of the song was also Jin. Camera focused on him as well and then to V so how can both be the same person. If you are not sure who sang a part, don't assume but instead ask a question and tell your viewers to comment.

Thanks for the reaction! The performance you reacted to was a very small sample of Epiphany performed at the KBS Song Festival. To give you some idea of how much you're missing, the actual live is about almost 5 minutes long (4:43). If you search for Jin - Epiphany live in Japan, there's a full performance with the lyrics. It is absolutely fantastic and you can hear Jin sing those breathtaking high notes at the end. BTW the backup vocals are actually Jin - they usually are for his solos.
Jin was in college, studying acting, when BigHit's talent scout 'discovered' him getting off a bus. He was signed to BigHit based on his looks alone...he had never sang or danced before becoming a trainee. That's why Jin's somewhat insecure when talking about his amazing voice. He feels his other BTS members have devoted much more time & effort to their talents, while he's a newbie... despite their chastising him & acknowledging his remarkable voice. Korea named him 'The Silver Voice' for his soaring vocals. What's unique to Jin's singing/dancing is he naturally incorporates his acting skills into both his MV & on-stage performances. Jin's high notes are often mistakenly credited to Jimin... or it can sometimes be both singing together.
This video looks like it is from a music tv show. You should react to his live in a concert video. He was discovered while getting off the bus on his way to college. He came into the trainee program and learned to sing and dance, but you wouldn't know it by how beautifully he sings and dances. He is very self-effacing even though he kids about being World Wide Handsome (WWH). This is the song that actually made me ARMY. It was my wake up call to take care of myself 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Oh no! You missed the most epic part of the live performance- the belting near the end of the song! If you watch the Japan performance, you will see clearly it was Jin who sang the high notes, not Jimin. Jimin’s signature is adding vocal fry all the time, but Jin’s vocals are clear, stable and precise! Jin is the only member who can pull off an epic ballad with his stable vocals and mesmerizing stage presence!💜
