Never saw this show. My local Philadelphia affiliate, WPVI, never aired it. They also didn’t air All Star Blitz or Trivia Trap. Damn shame. Would’ve been interested to see ABC’s game shows at the time. The only ABC game show that did air on WPVI was Family Feud.
and even part of the structure of the maingame, too. 2 Maingames, 2 Bonus Rounds, 2 celebs, 2 contestants per show. Same structure you see on Pyramid is what you see here.

He should've been zapped for marital status. Marital is a form of the word
Henry Pollack II hosted that ABC Game Show.
Boy everyone paused for a very brief second cause they knew that Marital should've been a buzz word
Henry Polic is actually from Pittsburgh.
I am honored to work with Henry right now :)

I still remember Laura Di Pierre's hug.
If this was on pyramid this would have been buzzed. It's a form of the word.
I'm guessing Bob Stewart got the reject judges from Pyramid to do this show.
Amy did excellent. 😀👍
9 phrases? Wow!
Howard Morton should've been zapped, for that "Marital Status" phrase, but I think Eileen Graf got zapped, for using "ready".
Eileen got zapped, for saying that key word. Howard Morton didn't get zapped, because he didn't say that "Marital" word.
Catch or caught is correct.
No Smoking
@singingsav Same violation for "Password".
but it's much more similar to Pyramid than anything.. the clock ticks, trilons..
@lobstertexas Even the bonus round is similar to the main game.
The violation buzzer was taken from "Family Feud".
Robert Lopresti Violation buzzer?! Whoa!
never liked this show.
