This video is hilarious, I wouldn't have thought this combination worked, but it really does. And the timing is perfect. It kinda reminds me of a headcanon I have, which is that machine!Connor is mildly aware of his potential to become deviant, but he also sees that emotions are messy and confusing as hell, so he's just side-eyeing it like "hm no thanks." and keeps doing his thing. Hence why in the route when deviant!Connor goes to Cyberlife, impostor!Connor has that "Why did you have to wake up when all you had to do is obey?" speech. Like "ugh bro I thought you knew better than to get mixed up with this crap, you should've stayed in your lane." That's just me tho, lol.

I can't stop watching this video. The song is more catchy than it has the right to be and somehow the quick pace of the song fits in perfectly with the clips of machine Connor being both a badass but also a clumsy dummy. I absolutely love the comedic use of editing to fit the song's lyrics but also goodness me the amount of effort put into the editing, quick cuts and transitions to fit in with the beat of the song is just so satisfying to watch and listen to. Really amazing work on this video! A lot of effort was definitely put into this and it paid off beautifully.
Ahhh thank you so much for your kind words! Out of all my edits this is definitely the one that took me the longest to complete. At the end the song had made me crazy and I questioned everything about the video. To a point where I thought to myself "This video sucks". So I had to step away. I left it alone for a week and started working on "Toxic" in the meantime. Then I opened it up again and looked at it with fresh eyes, made som last minute improvements before publishing it. I was, and still am, happy with the end result, but it still makes me so, so happy to hear that you enjoyed the edit and noticed the time and effort put into it. Thank you so much again

It's unbelievable how you combined this song and the game: "wanna change", "walk and talk like a machine", "don't do friends" - with Hank at the beginning of the game, "only after success", e.t.c. And of course the editing is perfect! And this video is strikingly different from others, because it has funny vibrations due to the song instead of epic beats in other compilations. And it is also very cool! It really keeps me smiling! Upd: I watched the video again, I think it is better than all videos with Connor I have seen before. It is perfect. Every line has meaning.

Hank's suicide scene is so sad. I wish it was possible for Connor to convince Hank not to kill himself if you've managed to make Connor deviant at that point. But yes, you can see he's not fully a machine, either way, in that scene. If that's because of his relationship with Hank or if it's his social protocol telling him how to act, who knows. :)
@@marisny Totally agreed! I was SO sad that there was NO difference in the suicide scene between machine and deviant Connor - I would even say he showed more emotions as a machine (loved the circling red LED when he left the house turning slowly blue again). Maybe it is a bit of both ;)
