I have those 3 trees in ground in Maryland. They are growing very nicely. If fruit does not ripe, I will grow them in containers. Black Madeira is doing much better in ground. Have you tried them in ground?
No, I have not, but I do have plans to try it in 7-B, in a good sweet spot. Apparently, not many have tried growing these wonderfully delicious cultivars in ground in the colder zones. Most such varieties, from prior experience, do not perform well in cold Winter climates. 7-B is really pushing it, but if I can use my very best microclimate, and if I get another mild Winter such as were the last two, it just might be possible to succeed. Regards! Lou Monti
Where did you get your cuttings from, I have been trying to find authentic ones and bought one and it was not even close to a BM. Also having hard time finding a true FP.
Hi, Mathew! This subject is addressed in some of my videos. There are some reliable sources that you can utilize. Thanks for watching and subscribing! Lou Monti
Yes, in deed, they must be! They should be watered thoroughly once a month give or take a week, depending on your careful assessments! Good luck! Lou Monti
Hi, Eenesto! I ,almost invariably, use grow bags for my container fig trees. Anything else that you may see is because I ran out of them and had to use whatever I had on hand in a pinch! Regards from, Lou Monti

Hi Lou, will the winter sheltered trees need to be watered regularly? If so how often and how much water? Thanks.

Who is Fifo Preto worth growing in our area?
What area? Perhaps in a container. I've had good results in 7-A, grown in a container. Regards from, Lou Monti
What the size of the smart pot your using?
