@@joshstarkey8883 The Actium blade is a bit taller and looks good. The Actium liner lock release is a little more accessible, and it has a larger finger choile. I do like the Baklash, and differences are not major.
I have many Civivi knives, the Actium and the Elementum are my go to fidget knives, and yes the Scepter has great action and looks. After some KPL, they all are even better. Not in production, also love the Little Fiend. For the price, Civivi to me always hits it out the park. would like also to see one or all in Titanium
I have the same Sencut Septer. I also have the CJRB Ria with micarta too. I find they are very similar in style and size. Love them both. The Civivi Badlands reminds me of a Civivi Ortis handle with a Civivi Pintail blade.
@@NeevesKnives Absolutely agree on the micarta quality. Although, funny enough, Sencut micarta seems much better than most Civivi micarta. I own well over 25 Civivi models and several with micarta. Not impressed much with Civivi micarta.

I bought an OD Civivi Badlands recently. It is by FAR my favorite budget carry knife to date! The FRN grip is very good quality, and if you didn't know any better, it could be mistaken for G10. I'm a life long Buck knife fan, and I wish they'd produce a product like this. Their closest that I have is perhaps the 840 Sprint, but as much as it pains me to admit, I like the Civivi Badlands a ton better - particularly the design of the reversible pocket clip. PS: Not that I care that much, but the centering on mine is perfect.
The one i dont have is the badlands. Is there any way you can tell if its the exact same tang as the ortis? And probably the exact handle size right? Because i want to order the badlands but switch blades with an ortis. Hopefully it works

I am concerned by a new line tbh. This is a way to foster lower end pieces on us at the prices we're getting for CJRB items now, while also increasing the prices of CJRB lines. I get CJRB has been killing it this last year, but i see this as a bait and switch on a grand scale. Reviewers desperate for content will show off the new stuff (which the first few pieces will be intentionally better than what we'll get down the road) and create demand. The whole pojnt of the exercise is to increase the price point of CJRB lines as they aren't the "budget end" anymore. Meanwhile Sencut will cost what CJRB does now and we will get even lower end materials, or fit and finish. What we need is CCs to call Artisan out for thinking we're stupid.
That a strong possibility, Civivi has so far shown to be on point with quality control unlike cjrb, but only time will tell if they start letting things out with issues, imo civivi is far better than cjrb but cjrb uses far better micarta, but we shall see, at this point I can only call it as i see it, they are always going to be competing eachother, and the one that has better quality control in the long run will be the better option so its in their best interest

I just bought the Sencut Actium! I love it! Action is like silk and the blade is serious sharp right out the box! I paid $38 bucks for it and I can tell you for a budget knife this is a winner!

Yeah I guess for that you have to look at WE knives right but I agree I'd lovevto see them make some we knives versions

I have the Actium in purple and have the Scepter on order. The Badlands looks to me like a drop point Ortis. Good bunch of knives! ✌️

Both the Actium and Scepter cost more than the Badlands. I don't know why they bothered creating a new brand. I think it's just a marketing ploy.
