Very vanilla on offense which is to be expected. More turnovers I would’ve wanted to see with Miss but he cleaned this up. Offensive line looks surprisingly good and I think they’ll be a nasty unit. RBs are big and physical enough said. Great skill at the WR position. Offense eventually won’t skip a beat. Defensively didn’t see 🐻 out there and you really don’t but line still a question mark. However, you can tell they’ve been well coached so far with pad level. Waiting for someone to step up at LB and be that dominant force because Cobb just ain’t it. He can get the job done but they SC needs to see what sone of the young guys bring to the table. Secondary looks great and played hard. Nicholson and Humpheys on the outside will be trouble for a lot of WRs. Celles will eventually start at the nickel as he’s already one of their best covermen. Overall like every other team it’s a work in progress. You can’t look too much into spring games but for level of execution that’s it. Moss will be one of the better QBs in the conference with the chance to be the best. I think we see more of the running game this year. Still need to add a few more pieces on the defense for depth. Secondary is going to go crazy
USC playing touch butt football. Riley said the culture would change but he is still not allowing them to tackle in practice. They can’t get good at tackling unless they fucking tackle.

@@KinglyTepery at the end of the day Lincoln Riley is the head coach. We don’t know what’s going behind closed doors. They could be wanting full contact for speed practices sometimes and they may be told no by Riley. I hope I’m wrong. I hope they do practice tackling but we’ll find out real soon.

It seems our Secondary has that turnover edge back... QB's threw too many interceptions for my taste...
Saw that too, but my belief is that some of those were forced because it is a practice game. It's also good because it shows where our guys need to clean up their game.
I was excited to see how that defense really can be good this year. Great coverage by that defense.

Why is there a Pac-12 logo on the field, when they are in the Big 10 conference
1:04 it's still on the jerseys, give it time
June 1st it changes or some date coming up
July 1st is when OU officially enters the SEC, so it might line up with that date.
We didn't have a Big 12 logo on our field today, nor did we have flags for all of the Big 12 members up at our stadium like we normally do. But we did have 16 blank flags up, signifying the 16 team members that we'll have in our future conference.

@Iubek I just remembered USC back in the day use to have a massive fanbase.and use to be so dominant. Those days are over. Also people in LA are the most bandwagon fans ever. People just go with the hottest teams. Like the Warriors when steph was great. And then the rams all the sudden. LA doesn't seem to have loyalty. They just go with who wins and who brings the money and USC has proven to not do that anymore.

At the time they also didn’t have two NFL teams in the same city. Let’s also add the biggest stars in both baseball and basketball with Ohtani and Lebron. LA is not comparable to these college towns in the Midwest and the South. Forming that opinion from clips of this “game” is lazy and shortsighted.
@@Plants28you tripping USC has been one of college football’s premier brands for the last 100+ years. There’s only maybe 15ish schools in all of college sports that generate more revenue and attendance than USC. And most of those schools are in states with no other professional teams. LA alone has 2 NFL, 2 NBA, 2 MLB, 1 NHL, and 2 MLS teams. If you want to talk shit at least compare apples to apples first.

Brother do u see the yellow jerseys in the secondary. They have a bunch of injuries because they have been hitting in practice. Jaylin Smith,John Humphrey, Bear Alexander, Christian Pierce were all injured/non contact. They needed players to play. They really don’t need more injuries.

Maybe cuz they weren’t tackling in the spring game due to all the injuries they picked up from last weekends scrimmage and the whole of spring.
Marks comes in leading FBS with reception yardage for RBs. Nice hands; he looks good. Lemon is a deadly sleeper. Secondary improvement. Entz is the man on LBs - his guys aren't running around giving up 300 yards on 5 plays like we did against Oregon. A glimmer of hope. Let's pick up the 2 O-line guys from UW, and there are about 4 4-star DLs in the portal. Camp starts what late July? Work to do.
