My absolute favorite band and this song is just magical. There's not exactly an abundance of Moonsorrow reactions and I'm so happy you did this. What a choice! I hope you do More.
YES, Moonsorrow reactions! The world needs to hear them. I'm loving how much you guys are into this band, one of my all time favorites. Also, I have to mention how great it was around 14:00 when you were pausing to speak about the song and how it feels you're being carried by the wind and ice storm. About 30 seconds after continuing the song Ville screams "Jääkylmä tuuli maan kauniin taivuttaa!", which translates to "Ice cold wind takes the beautiful land"
Moonsorrow is my favorite band since 2004❤. And JOTUNHEIM is one of the best songs, because the atmosphere and power is so awesome😊. Great guys, great musicians, i had a lot of fun with them all the years (especially with Mitija😅). Marco is a machine on the drums😊. The harmony of the axes is incredible🎸. And Euren on keys do a great job soon😊. I love them❤
Moonsorrow is so incredible and I'm so glad you enjoyed this song so much! They are probably my favorite band of all time. (Or at least top 3, it's so hard to choose!) It's so easy to get lost in their music, which is built slowly, with simple starts, layers added over time, and transitions adding up until you realize that you are lost in this incredible soundscape, without being quite sure how you got there. Lengthy minutes feel like nothing. From the first bird call to the first drop of heavy metal was over 3 minutes, and you don't even notice; it's just the song's intro. This music, as you guys noted, embodies the land it represents. It's about the mythical land of the frost giants, sure, but to me it is a beautiful representation of the frozen mountain landscapes of the North. As a Finnish band, they are representing Scandinavia of course, but you guys live near the Canadian Rockies, and have visited, driven through, camped there, as you said, so your experience with such a similar landscape is firsthand. And I can really tell that you guys just get it--both with this song, and with music like this in general. I appreciate that a lot! Great reaction as always! 🤘😎
Every album is a journey! I've seen them live twice and both occasions were magical. On the first one they played Verisäkeet as whole album, and second was a mix of Jumalten Aika and all other older albums.
Moonsorrow is a journey through time, earth, mountains and hardship of humans, nature and animals. Among the cold Moonsorrow makes the perfect music - come on board and travel the world with them 🤘🤘🤘
Man it's funny how satisfying it is to see other people enjoying things that you enjoy yourself. Verisakeet is to me the best metal album that's ever been made and Jotunheim is it's pinnacle.
Shout out to who requested it. Fkn awesome song. Fkn awesome reaction too Id like to become a patreon but it says you arent taking any more at this time .. will this change in the future or is that it? Because id definitely pay to see you guys do more Moonsorrow.

Moonsorrow have been my favourite band for years, not one bad song for my taste. I'm a big fan of atmospheric black metal and folk metal, so they appeal to me perfectly. I would recommend you try Finsterforst from the Black Forest in Germany. They're very similar, perhaps more of a contrast between acoustic and aggressive parts, plus accordion and more flute. I'd recommend any of the songs from "...zum Tode hin", particularly Untergang which I think encapsulates that album. Or Fremd from a more recent album which again is a good example of their sound now, which includes horns and more clean vocals and chants.
My absolute favorite band and this song is just magical.

Bring more Moonsorrow. They're awesome.
Absolutely my favourite reaction in a while 😊 You should give Kylän Päässä another go and this time a studio version 😉

Verisakeet is the best album ever.
Jotunheim is in the mountains of Norway and the literal translation is "home of giants".
Shout out to who requested it. Fkn awesome song.
Fkn awesome reaction too
