    I have both the Cen Puma and HPI WR8 Flux and drove them again side by side today. On (almost) dry, smooth surfaces the Cen drives like on rails and has a tendency to traction roll, more so on 3S of course. On slightly wetter spots, it slides easily, even on 2S. I did not manage to flip it there. The HPI (2S only) on the other hand is a drift monster and swings its back like hell on the dryer spots, too. Different beasts but both great fun to drive. Looking forward to the upgrades Cen might offer in the future.

    I really like this Cen Rally . It definitely pushes all the right buttons for me. Can’t wait to see it in the dirt. May have to save for one of these! Thanks for showing it!👊🏼🍻🤩

      @BangForYourBuckRc that's the next place I need to get this in. Out on the baseball field for a quick rip. I want to see it break out. The next video is 3S in the queue but I will say it was just as stable as this 2s run.

    It is handling amazing out on the street, very smooth, just the right amount of lean in the turns. Pretty sure you will get the back end to slide out on 3s. Looking forward to seeing it on 3s and off road. Thanks for sharing, take care and enjoy the weekend Ready Set.💯💯💯

      @sparetimerc Surprising I took it out on 3s and it was just as stable as 2s. Still did not want to break out. I want to get this out on the baseball field next but I'm thinking once CEN releases a center diff that will be the fist upgrade for this beast.

    Thinking of getting one, but that type of driving would bore me in no time , need to get some drift wheels on it 👍

      @blinkinbadger6164 To keep the excitement you got to take it to some other locations. Off-road is where I started to have the most fun with these rally's. The different type of terrains keep it spicy😊

      @philthyco1 That's a good one too, just wish the body was more scale, doesn't have to be licensed but more scale.

      @@ReadySetRC Yea.. It's a bigger rig..8th scale rally

    I’m interested in this car for sure! Do you know if Cen has released a center diff option for it? There’s room for one in the slipper clutch compartment. Not sure why all these companies are omitting center diffs these days. It’s what makes the wr8 handle so well.

    • @AphexTwinII
      @AphexTwinII ปีที่แล้ว

      Because of the short wheel base you don't react a center diff. It'll be impossible to control. Not sure why there's a fascination with center diffs.

    • @philthyco1
      @philthyco1 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@AphexTwinII Not true at all..3 tuned diffs in this rig would handle awesome

    • @ReadySetRC
      @ReadySetRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @krlaturn Nothing yet but there is room for one.

    • @krlaturn
      @krlaturn ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AphexTwinII drive the WR8! Same wheelbase and would dominate anything in the same class without a center diff. Why wouldn’t you want a more adjustable car? Lastly, if a short wheelbase does not benefit from a center diff, why does every real life rally car have one? A center diff opens a world of tune ability!

      @krlaturn ปีที่แล้ว

      @@philthyco1 yeah, I don’t get some people. If all you do is go straight I understand. But if you actually drive an RC there’s no way you could support the omission of a center diff.

    I know the these are rally cars meant for loose traction conditions, but TBH I run my WR8 on pavement. My biggest problem is how easily it traction rolls. I’ve recently thickened up the shock oil and put on firmer springs and will see if that helps. I haven’t seen factory stiffer antiroll bars available.

    • @ReadySetRC
      @ReadySetRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      @hashimrahman51 I'm not sure how smooth the pavement may be that you're running on but the times I run my WR8 it may traction roll once maybe twice in a 15 minute run. I run it in this same spot. I have some videos up on the channel.
