That turned out so well! I think framing vs hanging really elevates the piece. I agree with the other commenters that this channel is great for people who want a deeper dive into the craft. Not that there’s anything wrong with casual knitting, but I, personally, want more. Glad to have found it. Now researching how to become a master knitter….
Hi. I just want to tell you that I really like your videos. Love the more original content and the fact that isn't your usual I boghut this, I knitted the ranunculus... 😋, I will knit the petit knit something... Gets boring after a while! Your tapestry is absolutely fabulous! Total envy here. Also, thanks for the medieval channel recommendation. It's very interesting, medieval history always fascinated me. Keep the good job! 👍👍👍❤️
Thank you so much! Sometimes I struggle with whether or not to continue podcasting because there are so many channels out there. It's nice to hear that mine has a place.
Piece work is when you are payed by finished piece of whatever it is you make. You seem to associate it with a 'piece' of time, such as day jobs. I am fairly confident that the pieces are finished pieces or items of whatever your specific guild or craft makes, i.e. pottery, clothing items, tapestries, etc.
While I do also love the generic knitting podcasts, I agree with the previous comment! I have not come across anything like this. Btw, the latest Amirisu has a feature on Okinawa. I just so hope to visit there someday.

The V&A one is a mix of intarsia and stranded, lots of knots and floats. Their website now has images of the back. 🥰
Oh, now I have to go look that up. Actually now that's I've moved, maybe I can go see it in person.
