As @faustoutloud mentioned, I’ve also experienced opponents blocking while I have them rooted, and it pisses me off too 😂 The root loop was fun, definitely, but now post-NERF it usualIy just leads to disaster with the rooted opponent being able to fire off the SP3. I took Zemo to R5 very early on, so I’m not screaming for RDTs, but I do think they should have sweetened some other areas of his utility, such as the cooldown as you pointed out. I still like using Zemo, but he’s definitely not a top skill champ anymore.
I haven’t had an issue with the opponents power gain. Just don’t throw the SP2 when they have more than an bar and a half and you’ll be super safe from that SP3
I just feel like a lot of ppl are over reacting BIG time he’s still gonna be useful, if people are relying on him strictly for the root cheese, then I think you’re setting yourself up for disappointment, like you said, it’s a MINOR rebalance
honestly, I'm more annoyed with how the rebalance came about. I didn't rank him for the root cheese but rather for the extra damage he gets in matchups where the defender is immune to bleed or incinerate with a synergy and defense. The root cheese generally doesn't do much damage and isn't optimal, but Kabam should've been upfront about how the mechanic was supposed to work rather than pointing to the Trello board which most players have no clue as to what it even is.

Since he come out they changed 2 times. Once Baron Zemo could have up to 99 furies . Not anymore. Now just 15. Then his root mechanics and armour. He Is completly different champ.... He was Baron Zemo now he Is called Baron Zero ...
Homie, the Resist Up is SO much better than the armor - the Armor was useless unless you got hit. The Resist potency equates to about 50% energy resist - makes him even better for Hazard Shift & Node 49 in war. The duration change is also massive in science / debuff matchups - the root is paused during his special 1, so you can use two - three special 1's, bait a special and then repeat. Really great change overall.

Only thing that changed about Absorbing Man is he no longer regens at the start of the fight when you fight him the second time... As for Zemo hes still good.
Changing +9000 armor rating into +2250 is just classic scummy move from Kabam. Yes, they stated that they want to remove cheese against armor break effects and nullify, fair enough. But why did they need to change bonus effect itself? All they should've done is code new effect that would provide same bonus and not interact with armor breaks. They could've just give him armor up passive that like Nimrod's armors is not removed with armor breaks and that's it. But they gone as far as this to make him less tanky, and not just on offense against face-tanked and blocked hits, but on defense as well. This is especially noticable since the best counters to Zemo are prowess based mutants, and most of them can't deal with high armor rating.
One thing that sucks big time is now he can’t counter rintrah as good. Rintrah would nullify his armor and that would make the cleansing pop up and you would be able to root cheese rintrah
Not good anymore for me though, they changed him too much atleast for me,i am not good in controlling power bar of opponent and now he can use sp3 as well
@@Ultrqviolencee i would like to watch your reaction when ai intercept you not only with basic attacks but with specials as well and when some champions like spider Gwen and so parries you 3-4 times,quick with heavies and yeah absolutely ridiculous damage on block as well + kabam's server with full of bugs and recently they took action otherwise there were too many modders and cheaters ,also only some players are skilled,not everyone are good with it,what do you want us to do? Keep on gaming day and night to improve our gameplay and still lose to whales and arena grinders just cause they have big rosters,it sounds like we will never be able to get good rewards and try to keep up with them without paying them money,good champion are one of things we need to keep up with them,we don't have every champion like them ,they have so many good options,it's not about hard or something,i am a paragon player and I know how it feels to lose to someone in bg just cause of champions,also variant ai was made too much aggressive even when act 7 was not available,this game is pay to win,not play to win, it's true that you will need skills to get to top ,but what do we do with skills almost intermediate and intermediate roster,also kabam only gives importance to some countries,not every country,there are many skilled players and youtubers who can't join battleground upcoming championship just cause of that,what else can we do except complain,we praise kabam when it does good work ,but complaining is also our right,they stopped buffing champions from past 2-3 months,there are many underrated characters waiting to show their potential,yet they focus on new champions which not everyone can get
