One suggestion
If possible try to stay in Kibber instead of Kaza
There is one homestay Dehshak
Indu didi owns that
It will be worth every penny

isse zyada bura hai sonapur road. Meghalaya-Assam border.. Hair pin bends plus large craters on the road. extreme trucks

I completed my Manali to Kaza to Shimla trip last month between 6-12 oct. on my Himalayan 450 and that too solo. I completely understand what you guys felt while crossing this 180Km. It was the longest 180Km of my life and that satisfaction when you touch tarmac road
