    I loved your home the best ive seen so far. I have heard they leak through the roof and an additional apex would fix this. The plumbing codes vary from country to country and i would need to plan the electricals well. I may need a garage to put the laundry in. Thank you

      Hello sorry for the late reply, here in Queensland there’s no snow and we haven’t experience hailstorm yet fingers crossed it wont happen, but when it’s raining there’s water coming in from the joints they were not properly sealed and because there’s no eaves we added some outdoor canopy on the windows too. As for the doors and bathroom they are standard sizes but for sure it can be adjusted to your preference. Thanks for liking my video and stay safe all the time.

    Would be great to hear your experiences on the process of getting this legal.
    I'm in Maryborough not far from you looking at doing something similar but with a supplier that already has the issues sorted that you mentioned in the end of the video

      Actually we bought it from private person, it was advertised on domain as a property for sale package land and that container house, during the open house we made an offer to the agent we wanted it but move in ready, so it was the seller who processed everything to be council approved.

      From what I’ve heard, the cost for a blank 40ft house is about 10k for the actual module, and 10k for all the installation (including plumbing, electricity, etc). You can only buy the module from China, but you can get them customized by American companies (they jack the prices really bad, though)

    What's the ceiling height like compared to a regular home?

    • @homemadewithlovebymich
      @homemadewithlovebymich  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not much difference, it’s high ceiling despite being a container home it doesn’t feel claustrophobic.
