  • Come along on our fishing adventure down the San Antonio River in Falls City, Texas. We caught a couple nice bluecats and a few more catfish. Complete with some great entertainment from the Double R Outdoor children! Times are never dull on our boat and we got a bunch of fish for the freezer. Doesn't get much better than that!

I grew up going to falls city from floresville we would go camp fish swim the san antonio river where the rapids were. My dad and uncles use to tell stories og gators on that section. We would catch cats for sure biguns.

Honestly great place to have had fond memories. I still go fishing with uncle he's 74 and tuffer then me for sure at 59 hell that cat we use to think of him as if he was Tarzan like he wasnt a big cat like my dad and his other brothers but that guy could hunt track any animal and he was an outstanding fisherman. When i was kid he had spent time alone in Montana that sob comes back with a pup bobcat crazy . He raised it kept it wild then released it you know that bobcats out there somewhere or at least his spawn 😜😜😜

When we lived in San Antonio we used to fish wherever there was a bridge crossing. The saspamcso paddle trail has a few places to!

There are sooo many different species in the river. Just to name a few (that we catch often): catfish, drum, bass, gar, alligator gar, and soo much more. We eat everything we catch!
