GSM Orange County, CA Public Defender Voir Dire Seminar, 2023

Gerry Spence has always referred to Public Defenders, "as the backbone of the criminal justice system." At the GSM, we put action into Gerry’s firmly held belief.
On May 6th, a powerhouse contingent of GSM's Faculty, Joey Low, Adrian Baca, Jim Brown, Stephen King, Ibiere Seck, and Alonso Zavala, were in action with the Orange County Public Defender's Office for a Voir Dire Seminar.
The Faculty taught Gerry's Methods, and the OC PDs came to work. They were quick to volunteer, take risks, learn, absorb the instruction, and keep going.
It was a fantastic seminar and the GSM is unbelievably happy to have had the opportunity to work with these frontline criminal justice warriors.
Future events for other offices are in motion, as the GSM remains committed to giving action to Gerry's words and beliefs.
