Peter is fabulous but Tim Foust and his group "Home Free" are my absolute favorite. Peter and Home Free have several great songs together.

I love beautiful, raw, talent. It's such a breath of fresh air as opposed to the stuff they push in the mainstream nowadays.

Love this! The bass is Tim Foust of Home Free and Peter Hollens is the tenor/baritone here. Tim and Peter have an album of duets together. They love singing together. If you stare at the last picture of Tim long enough you can see the camera shake. Hahaha. He’s been known to break speakers too. Good one!!!

Love the username btw: "babyfry" awesome! Thank you so much and I thought I had seen the camera shake in the end there too. This was such a cool cover of that song! Amazing talent in this one. I love bass voices. I can never get that deep but I have mad respect for these dudes that are so naturally blessed.

Peter Hollens (light hair) is his own solo a cappella group. With layers and layers.
Time Foust (dark hair) sings bass for the group Home Free

Peter Hollens has said that this video was done with 120 layers of sound tracks. (I think the number is right.)

Well, Tim Foust is a bass profundo, but he also has a 5 octive range.

This is my favorite version of this song (from The Hobbit). The contrast in voices is beautiful. Peter in the higher tenor ranges & then paired with the true natural bass voice of Tim. And that last dragon's breath note is truly remarkable & how long he sustains it. Peter & Tim have collaborated on quite a few other songs & they are all beautiful. Peter is a master at layering voices. Check out "Sound Of Silence", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Greensleeves", "Fire & Rain", "Teach Your Children", "Sunshine On My Shoulders", "You Can Close Your Eyes", "And So It Goes", "Blackbird", "You've Got A Friend".

The range is so incredible. I was really impressed with the editing and layering he did with this one. Super grateful for this suggestion. I've developed a healthy respect for real musical talent as compared to the mainstream stuff they put out on the radio nowadays. Thanks so much for the suggestions! I wrote them all down as well as your name when I get to these you will know for sure!

Released in 2014. They are getting better ever year. You may want to react to "The Hound and Fox" and "The Bass Gang"

Yes. These two are very talented. And their voices fit well.
To check out someone not so well known, I recommend 24 yo Moroccan born, Canadian raised, Faouzia (Foe zee ah).
Faouzia sang Sting’s old “Desert Rose” live several months ago on Singer2024. She usually sings in English, but covered both the English and Arabic parts from the original. This tv show is singing competition for established artists. The audio seems to be ok for reactors, but many have had to blur or mask the video from the Hunan tv or Mango tv broadcast.
Hope you check her out, even if a different song.
      Thanks.

Peter is the higher voice and Tim is the bass. Tim sings with the accapella group Home Free and you need to check them out. They are the best. It is a deep rabbit hole so buckle up for it. And their fans are called Home Fries. We will flock to your channel when you react to Home Free.

Very nice to find a first time reactor to Peter (light) and Tim (dark). Yes, they both come from the acapella world.
Peter has been very prolific on YT. Tim has been singing bass with HomeFree since 2012, and they are on their annual Christmas tour.
Hope you revisit one or both. These two put out an album of duets that might have a song or two you like. I’m fond of their “Greensleeves”.
    Thanks for reacting.

That was a lot of fun! These two guys are amazingly talented. I was reading through some of the comments and I apparently mixed them up 😅 not very good guesses unfortunately. I wrote down your suggestions and look forward to reacting to more of their work in the near future 😁 Thank you so much for checking this video out!!

Peter (lighter hair) is the high lead, whilst Tim does the bass and WHO KNOWS what else as he has a 5+ octave range... Tim is well known for his maintaining clarity in his bass, lol, Geoff is one of his biggest fans.

You might have to decide whether you have plenty of time to do the reactions and edit your video and do anything else you need to do. I don't know what your life schedule is like.
Of course, we, as fans, would love new videos every day.

Thanks for the advice! I’m working on getting my time management down to a science and hope to be able to pump out videos more frequently in the future! 😊 Lately it's just been the holidays and my wifes post-op surgery needs. I've been trying to record every day and iron out this audio business. I have no clue why sometimes it's all over the place but I'm pinpointing it with my degree in YT research 🤣 I have a poll up on the community post. I'll be going off what you all vote for. I'll be using the full 24 hours for this one so be sure to go vote and I will go with what the consensus is 😊 Thank you so much! I'm so glad you all are returning, I really am trying to improve and make the listening experience better for yall!

I'm so sorry. I don't know where the audio gets lost between OBS and Filmora. I play it back after recording in OBS and it sounds fine. I'm figuring out the discrepancy when transferring between the two. If that doesn't remedy I wil have to find a different editing program 😔

Both Tim and Peter were in different locations when recording this and Peter had to sync and layer the performances.
