Ok so you bring up Bladerunner as an example where it's lacking women and women of color in the future. First off, there's quite a few female parts in Bladerunner 2049, second, it's the future! No one can see into or knows the future! You don't know nor can you guarantee that there are women and/or women of color in the future. Last, I'm really tired of the backlash about race and gender in mainstream movies lacking supposedly, however, when a movie like this one is made by African-American's there's not one Caucasian male or female to be seen. So, point in case it went over your head, it's a big deal and a problem when, let's just call a rabbit a rabbit here, a movie made by white people doesn't have enough ethnic or feminist presence in it yet when the shoes on the other foot and a movie is being made by black people or Hispanic people or even Asian people, it's totally cool and ok and if anyone were to say anything about it, kinda like I am right now, well they're just gonna get called for being a racist or a bigot or a shovanist etc. Reverse racism and or feminism is just as bad as racism and feminism. By feminism I'm referring to the extreme, unrealistic and unreasonable types. I don't and have never had an issue with a female doing anything and everything she wants to and is capable of doing regardless of what is. Law enforcement, leadership/manager positions, and unequal pay is bs and illegal, you do the work and do it right and have the same qualifications and experience as the next guy, then you earned and should get paid the same. Like I said, if the person is able-bodied and capable of performing the task at hand to the needed and required expectations it calls for, gender shouldn't matter. I'm out, peace, love, and tolerance are the keys to the future.
