Spring Makeup for the Mature Face

- This video shows a basic makeup look that is created for post menopausal skin. I noticed after menopause that my makeup looked too thick, colors too garish, just nothing looked as good as it used to. I needed to make some changes. This is my basic, every day look which is usually only altered by lip color. Should take you about ten minutes once you get used to it. This video has a lot of explanation about what I am doing and offers thoughts on how you may want to alter it to your own needs.

I am a NO makeup, makeup look girl. I stopped wearing foundation around 30 years old. I also use a tinted sunscreen by Elf and some eye makeup and I am good to go. I think as you age, less is better. I also believe more natural is the way to go, especially on Mature skin. You look gorgeous! Thank you for the viedo.

I also like that it's a simple make-up that doesn't require a lot of products, that way I can easily include some of it in the morning before work. After the 2nd coffee, that is 😅.
Being a 56 year old pale skinned girl with cloudy blue-grey eyes (with odd orange dots in them) I am always keen on your tips on colours.
I've been using an ashy medium chestnut red and I love it. But I will definitely look out more for the rusty shades in my palettes for my daily routine.

Love your videos. Agree with the rust for blue eyes, but you couldn’t get it when I was young, everyone used blue or green whatever their eye colour!

Just use a bluey grey pencil. Your brows r faded to nearly none.
U can make tinted mois,r. Just add a bit of pinkish foundation and blend in jar.
I kinda think you COULD do blue eyeshadow! It would look cool.

you look absolutely stunning but any eye doctor and probably dermatologist will tell you not to put anything in or near your tear line. It's supposed to be a clean area that works with your natural tears to keep your eyes clean. If eyeliner is there, you are cleaning your eyes with eyeliner. Plus you can clog the pores there and get an infection.
Yep. I've been doing it for over half a century and I've never had any problems. I've heard the warnings for over half a century, too. I guess I could be considered a medical miracle, extremely lucky, or consistently stupid. 😊
You are speaking the truth. I put eyeliner on the water line and did the upper and lower tight lining for decades and what do I have to show for it? I have the worst case of dry eye and now I have blocked meibomian glands and have to go through painful treatments to open the glands and express the oil. And of course what this has done is my vision is impaired because of the dry eye and the blocked glands. Furthermore, I wasn't diligent about removing the makeup thoroughly and sometimes I didn't even remove it at all . I would be too tired or I would forget to take it off. So. There it is. If I could only go back in time😢😢😢

I don’t understand I really don’t understand if you don’t want as much coverage when you get older than what are you gonna do with all your pigmentation spots that show up I want to cover them.
