Everybody says this album sounds like disturbed/slipknot etc. I think it sounds like FFDP.
I was literally just thinking this song had heavy Disturbed vibes.
@Mitchell Bryant I might not have read far enough down, but I wasn't comparing it to anything. Just said it gave me vibes. Reminded me of Disturbed's style. That's not an insult, slight, or really even a comparison to either band.

I'd also like to reply to your comment to Chef. He didn't say all bands are the same people, just that not all bands are unique. Some bands just try and be "more of (insert genre)", and when they do so they bring nothing new to the table.
@@Mitsurugi2424 It does have some of those vibes I guess. I just think ffdp has its own sound and can't be compared. Its like st. Anger sounds like slipknot even though metallica is their own awesome thing.
My mom died and was in a dark place. This album came out and helped me.
I fully understand you're pain my mom oded a few years back ffdp let's me tap into more of a rage filled pride feeling letting me drop the trauma lol
Does anyone else seriously get a war of the answer era feel around this album? This is the one the haters wanted. Crossing over, far away and you could kind of say walk away were all slower songs. This has a little bit of everything. Fast, heavy, hard rock, ballads
If it wasn't for this band, I would be 6 feet in the ground right now.
Same found them on accident listening to the radio on my way back from Detroit and my dads terminal cancer treatment at Borgess hospital. He's gone. They are still here. And amazingly so am I. Going to see them in Novemeber.

I feel that. After my wife died and my son committed suicide, I went to the darkest places a person mind could go. This band has been instrumental in my recovery. If not for their music, I would’ve been pushing up daisy right along side you.

My Pandora played SEASONS CHANGE & I saw the light rocking out at the bottom of a very dark hole!!!! They've pulled me though more then I can admit....You are awesome & I'm glad you're still here hun!!!!

In my humble opinion War Is The Answer is their best record to date. But this whole album is awesome! It's going to be one of the best albums of the year, for sure.
@@Alex-Tremonti war is the answer is their second, only because they were a fresh band and hadn't found their voice yet. This album is a band who has dealt with everything and came back with a vengeance. And you can hear it.

Before i left for the army back in 2011 i married a girl a few years younger than me that had a pretty bad reputation around town but seemed genuine and like she just needed someone to love her. She had a history of drugs and running around on people but things seemed different. I left for georgia for osut and during this time she cleared my bank account and got heavily into drugs and cheating but i came back after during my leave and tried to mend things and it seemed like a tug of war for her soul. I gave her every opportunity to come with me when i got stationed at jblm and start fresh but she went the other direction and about two years later died from congestive heart failure due to meth use .. This song makes me remember how she didnt put herself infront of it. 5fdp has several songs that really connect with me and hers relationship. This and the bleeding especially. Theres not a day goes by i dont think of raechelle. My red
Fell for a girl who had a rep for being a thot and after dating for a few months i caught her making provocative videos for ig live. This song makes me think about her. Very pretty girl. I guess someone from ffdp went thru a similar experience. Its pretty sad but stay strong brotherssss. Great song/album. Also she was selling her 📦

Congrats to Ivan Moody for being sober. It takes guts and a strong mind to beat an addiction and he proved he's not only strong but a good hearted man that cares about his family, friends, and fans each and every day. It was an honor to be on stage with you in 2013, FFDP. I'd be happy to do it again one day. Good luck and live life to the fullest, guys.

My top 2 bands for a decade+ 🤘
I discovered 5FDP through a TH-cam video and have been hooked ever since I heard their song "Under and Over it". I've been through an extremely rough three years ever since the pandemic started and a lot has happened that made me just want to shut myself off from the world and never be hurt again. Your songs help me so much in providing an outlet for my emotional pain and I'm extremely thankful for all the important messages about mental health you guys put into your songs. Suffering from PTSD can be such an isolating existence but hearing your songs is like...well...feeling like someone finally understands the real you, the part of you that just wants to be loved and accepted by the world but is not going to put up with certain people's bullshit anymore. Much love to you, 5FDP. Keep on rocking!

Depending on what sort of mood I'm in, this song either gives me strength or pisses me off. Sometimes both. If it was easy to "leave it all behind", I wouldn't struggle with PTSD and depression, I would spiral into suicidal thoughts.
