Really interesting how the pitch of his voice changes so drastically when speaking English compared to his Korean - a similar thing also happens to me. I wonder why that is?

I heard that when speaking english we tend to breath out while talking so we tend to hear deep-throat voice but when talking in Korean we can talk from outside of throat sound so the pitch get higher
