One of the funniest games I ever seen. Sad for Strongsage ofc but Scalebarer fails are just too entertaining.
Maxters style of playing worked really well against Strongsages aggression.
Also casting was awesome as always

Quake is a tight knit community with a very limited number of good casters and it makes you miss the likes of Zoot, DDK & 2GD. I hadn't seen much of DJ Wheat's casting pre QC, but he has slowly over the years won my heart as one the best casters of the game, particularly after this match 😅Dan ofcourse has been casting Quake for over 10 years as well and it's always a treat to hear his analysis as he knows what he's talking about. And ofcourse 40 Lions, one the best recent additions to Quake casting with his wit & humor ❤

djWheat was a player on a top-ranked Quake II team back in the day. He ultimately went on to be a caster with Quake on TSN, which is so early on that its really the birth of e-sport casting (RealAudio / SHOUTcast etc). He was also a very early Twitch caster.

I didn't except to see someone raises this issue, yes, I watch these matches on my phone before I sleep and I use my phone's speakers and I hardly hear the commentary and maybe 0% of game audio.

i'm having to buy exit lag just to play qc now ,cause the latest lag compensation updates made it unplayable and unhittable in eu servers with 200ms ,but back then it was hittable before the update .
