If you are thinking you will get answers by listening to Question Period let me enlighten you. When Andrew Scheer was speaker I wrote to him to ask why there were never any answers. Basically he told me 'that answers are not part of the process in the House hence why it's called Question Period.' It's basically political theatre. They could meet once a week and accomplish more outside that venue but they wouldn't have nearly as much fun. Supposedly we are all along for the ride and the show.

You're taking a cheap and juvenile shot at Poilievre's rentals while Trudeau graciously provides taxpayer paid insulated tents for homeless Canadians that HE MADE HOMELESS.
Are you this "concerned" about how Trudeau made over $ 100 MILLION in eight years, with most of that wealth coming from the vaccines HE FORCED US TO TAKE? I would think that's a far bigger issue than Poilievre's rental properties that have no connection whatsoever to his job as Official Opposition. And if I had to guess, his rental rates are probably lower than most landlords.
Regardless, it's really none of our business, is it? But Trudeau is using his position as PM to enrich himself while Canadians go hungry and can barely make it paycheck to paycheck. Great choice. 🙄

@@DLRS222 wow! So many things to deconstruct. First, your rage. Apparently, you feel entitled to obliterate my reasonable criticisms of the Leader of the Opposition, despite the discrepancies in logic which underpin his attacks on the current Prime Minister.
Second, your unsubstantiated claims of fiscal gain on the Prime Minister’s side contrasted with unsubstantiated claims of fiscal modesty on the Leader of the Opposition’s side. If you have any supporting articles to this effect, please post the links. Thanks. Third, the idea that the current Prime Minister is personally responsible for the global economic crisis and its horrendous outcome is also unsubstantiated. Please provide supporting evidence. Thanks. Forth, if the Leader of the Opposition is going to run a defamation campaign on housing costs, then his own track record of providing housing, at what cost, etc., is extremely relevant.

Rent takes up 70-80% of most workers paycheques these days. Unless you want to live with a roommate you're looking at minimum about 1200-1400 a rent per month and even with a roommate you're looking at 800-1000 a month minimum.
Then you have bills and an insane cost of living. This is why theft has skyrocketed in Canada. People are desperate to do anything to avoid being homeless which is also at record setting levels.
We need to put people first and greed second because it's become unsustainable.
