Will we ever see a more perfect trilogy or hear a more perfect soundtrack in our lifetimes? I think not. The visuals, cinematography, the music, the artistry, the costumes, the story….just pure perfection. Nothing will ever come close to challenging the greatness of The Lord Of The Rings!

It's not Peter Jackson scenes, it's Weta scenes, and kudos goes to their art directors. Peter ruined the movie with stupid pathetic scene of constant crying, and poor choice for actors for Gandalf and Aragorn, that didn't had the fraction of charisma and authority like in the books.

Right BEFORE the fellowship entered Moria a feeling came over me and I learned over to the person next to me and whispered, 'THIS IS THE GREATEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN!'... When I was watching the beacons of Gondor be lit I got that same feeling! This IS the greatest trilogy ever filmed (and this is coming from a hardcore Star Wars fan)! THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THIS FEELING AGAIN!
LoTR is just a timeless masterpiece, there is a balance between the use of practical effects and CGI in terms of the visuals. The musical scores are just beautiful as well. The Trilogy will be among the greats in the pantheon of movies for many years to come :)
Yes this looks so much better than The Hobbit trilogy, those movies have way too much CGI and image filtering. I watched the LotR remasters with HDR on an OLED tv, looks so amazing. But then the Hobbit remasters look fake.

Isn't it amazing how someone can even think of a story like this.. and then the story evolving into such a spectacular movie.. how do you even beat this? The ridiculous amount of detail.. the soundtrack.. everything is so insanely well thought out and executed
As cliche as it sounds, _this_ is what you call a masterpiece. Something to be put in a gallery as a standard of what movies should strive to be. Almost every single aspect is perfectly executed. Great storyline, perfectly thought out lore, second to none acting and casting, gorgeous cinematography and atmosphere. It is objectively, factually the most perfect story of its kind so far.
I am 13 and these are the greatest movies I personally have ever seen :) I don't believe its all fair to say every person in the newer generation have not seen or do not like these movies. Peter Jackson will go down in my book (me being the generation you are talking about :D) as one of the greatest film-makers of the greatest films of all time. I respect other movies, but it makes me sad how modern movies turn too much attention on effects, CGI, and editing, yet they do not look up from the screens and appreciate the beauty of the world around us, such a gift and a beautiful creation given to us! Privileged to be in a quaint old cinema in Devonport, off the harbour of Auckland NZ in 2012, and when the movie curtain was removed, and therein the projection on screen commenced, we were enchanted and bemused by the thunderous claps by the young lads. Such spontaneity not even since the Star Wars trilogy.
When 11:35 hit, I about wanted to jump out of my seat and shout; SO perfect! One of my most favorite themes! This video is so well put together. Thankyou for your work!!!
A story this great, this compelling, needed great natural landscapes to pull it all together so it could be viewed as the epic that it is. Great writing coupled with a great screenplay and great acting and then brought to life by great directing. What a classic, thanks for ringing back memories.

We are like butterfly, flying in a huge garden, sometimes we get lost in the shapes and colours... only to realize that you the butterfly and the garden are One... everything else that is material and have name is Illusion.!!! my home remind me of Shire ... running with the dogs, playing with the pigs, going on the river... all dirty... always happy.... with my childhood friends... no lies... no dramas, no money... but pure joy !! I wish one day i go home........ but as Gandalf say to Bilbo... when u return you will be different Hobbit.... I wish you guys Joy and Happiness in your own Adventures !!

New Zealand's landscapes are very unique.

The reason why LOTR is in the hearts of so many is because it represents alot of peoples hidden desires for the old and simple ways.
