I live in the US, and though I'm a graduate student but we have one Indian undergrad student who use to live with us in the same apartment and now he comes almost every other day to see what we have cooked, we always try to keep food for him in the fridge. He can't cook so we share with him. We go to Desi hotels together. We have a very good bond. It's the media that is making people hate each other.

As a Pakistani it's very heartbreaking when we are labelled as 'Atangwadi' because in fact we are the victims of terrorism. We lost 80000 civilians and many soldiers in war against terror. As far as intelligence agencies are concerned, Indians and Pakistanis both need to accept that ISI and RAW both have proxies in other's countries. RAW supports terrorist organisations based in Balochistan (proof is the Indian spy sentenced to death by PK supreme court) and similarly ISI helps out Khalistanis and Kashmiri militants. In the end its us civilians that suffer the most. There can be no peace until Pakistani media stops labeling Indians as terorists and Indian media stops calling out Pakistan after any unfortunate incident that happens in their country.

I live in the US, and though I'm a graduate student but we have one Indian undergrad student who use to live with us in the same apartment and now he comes almost every other day to see what we have cooked, we always try to keep food for him in the fridge. He can't cook so we share with him. We go to Desi hotels together. We have a very good bond. It's the media that is making people hate each other.

As a Pakistani it's very heartbreaking when we are labelled as 'Atangwadi' because in fact we are the victims of terrorism. We lost 80000 civilians and many soldiers in war against terror. As far as intelligence agencies are concerned, Indians and Pakistanis both need to accept that ISI and RAW both have proxies in other's countries. RAW supports terrorist organisations based in Balochistan (proof is the Indian spy sentenced to death by PK supreme court) and similarly ISI helps out Khalistanis and Kashmiri militants. In the end its us civilians that suffer the most. There can be no peace until Pakistani media stops labeling Indians as terorists and Indian media stops calling out Pakistan after any unfortunate incident that happens in their country.

I felt really good after watching the perspective of younger generation. This give me a hope that we are on a right track but the sad reality is that this is just a minority of urban youngsters, a majority of rural india has succumbed to the toxic media of our nation.
