That's why you don't smoke cigarettes like he did. He was also an alcoholic for decades. He claims to have been sober for the last 5 years. Only time will tell if he holds up and doesn't have a span of being arrested 3 times in 5 years like he was from 2005-2010.

The police let him go since he was standing outside of the car, and they couldn't prove that he was driving it. One hour later, Stone was arrested after police were called for a domestic disturbance as he had his 22 year old son in a headlock. In 2010, he was arrested at 5am for DUI. In 1994, his wife filed for divorce due to claims of excessive drinking and infidelity. As you can see, Doug Stone was an alcoholic (I say was because he claims he has been sober for 5 years now). Time will tell if that holds true
