Hey man, I felt compelled to comment after seeing people post negative comments on other videos.
I found your channel when I think it only had like two videos and I've watched everything you've put out. I really like that you're willing to post failures, almost nobody out there does that. It keeps the feel of your channel very real and it's fun to watch the journey. I also appreciate that you just have a chill demeanor, it makes for very easy watching compared to the zoomer high-intensity slop on the Internet nowadays.
I work on my own cars in my spare time and it can be super demoralizing to spend hours and hours troubleshooting something and get nowhere. But it's also so satisfying when you revisit the problem later and fix it.
Anyways, don't get discouraged by negative comments. All of these are fun to watch.

Hey thanks! I really appreciate you saying that and the encouragement. I try to learn from the more constructive comments and ignore the others as best I can.
I feel it’s important to show that failures happen and hope that can encourage others when they fail not to give up. Plus if I didn’t post failures I’d sometimes have nothing to post lol.

Hey, tried to add a comment (twice) but it keeps getting deleted. I guess because of the link I added.
Anyway: I have a similar microscope (Andonstar) and I have recently bought a microscope arm (which is just a microphone arm with a different attachment: a ring in which the microscope mounts). This makes the microscope much more flexible. You can swivel it out of the way or swivel it back for easy access, you get a much bigger workarea because the gooseneck LEDs aren't in the way (they don't add much) and you get a much greater vertical range as well. I can wholeheartedly recommend this 'mod'. Let me know if you can't find it.
