It is reported that the presence of transverse steel causes a 5 to 15% reduction in compressive strength of core. The effect of embedded steel is higher on stronger concrete and as its location moves away from ends, i.e. towards the middle. However presence of steel parallel to the axis of the core is not desirable.also we should test rebound hammer test.
What to do with calculated and noted steel ?? What if reinforcement there in core ? Please explain..

Correction factore…..amazing video…superrr
Thank you 🙂
ap ki video bht achi lgi thanks
Nice presentation.
For testing in CTM, is it compulsory for core to be level/smooth in both face i.e top and bottom?? Usually cores are levelled at top not at bottom..
yes its compulsory
Can we still use 50mm dia. core for column with closed ties where 100mm dia. is not feasible?
Yes
What about the twmperature correction factor on cylindrical sample obtained from core cutting??
very nice video thanks
B) calculation point no. 2: Can you please provide supporting document which mentions the strength should be 75% for single core??
Sir Please Upload the vedio of complete calculations and result for better understanding
already uploaded brother

Very useful video.
Kindly share with your friends
@@HIGHWAYQAQC why not.
I'm already share every video with all friends.
Agar concrete mai PSC POST Tensioning Girder hai aur wo 15 mtr Height se falling huva hai to core result kitna trustabel hoga?
Does L is before capping or after capping for L/D ratio
After capping
Very Nice
why this method is not applicable to cores from Shotcrete?
Can you tell me which standard apply for shortcrete cores plz
Sir F ka formula kaha se lai? Please bataiye

Tanks for lessons
What will do if L/D ration is between 1.75 to 1.90?
No need to apply correction factor, note the comp. strength as it is.
Hi
