I’ve never paused, so I can improve my stam. But I don’t think it’s cheating because it’s utilizing a game mechanic like changing your height or even saber colors.
yeah ,but changing height, saber colors or even saber settings is a preference/accessability/customisation where as pausing isn't any of that ,its simply a thing that straight up is objectively always better and has no downsides (it allows you to take a break and regen your stamina ,which is a big factor in beat saber ,because some maps' difficulty comes at least partially from stamina ,pausing essentialy removes this from the game ,it also allows you to chill out and lower your stress which also leads to improving your scores on average compared to not pausing), i would personally qualify it as cheating ,but since it became so common it will forever be allowed ,which is a damn shame imo. I personaly never pause because i don't like it :)

My standard and no pause PP are identical on betleader I just don't find pausing fun

@@ciubciubpli dont pause during rank plays. I only do it if i am interrupted during a play so i can communicate with someone better
