The stuff you do in regards to classics is the best. The Museum , racing and garage visits. The modern hypercars videos are at saturation point on TH-cam.. I know you cover both, but the classics have so much more character, and are so much rarer, than what are now "ten a penny" hypercars.

I sold Porsche cars in the early 1980s in California. One of the things we clued a new client in on was how solid the cars were, the sound of the door closing, for instance and I would drive them down the worst road I new of and ask them to listen for squeaks or rattling. These were pre-owned car's of course, but 90% of the time, it got the point across.
Those numbers are the corner marshall posts at the Nurburgring not turn-in or input points.

+1 .. An inspiring informative walk-through of the Porsche Museum's Werkshop.. The Porsche Werkshop is a facility to be reconned with. Truly a rare place. .. Back in the day, (2000) my very own '98 Carrera S (993) spent time at the former PAG factory Werk 1 Werkshop. .. The former Werk 1 facility was where vintage 356 vehicles and 959s owned by Kings sent their Porsches for a complete renovation or a simple 959 tune-up. ..
Should Zuffenhausen be a wee bit far to travel .... There's the Canepa Motorsport Werkshop in Santa Cruz, CA. .. Bruce Canepa is the creator of the present-day re-imagined Porsche 959 SC. .. The Canepa facility is unlike no other, be it a nut & bolt level Mercedes 300SL renovation or preserving a '98 Carrera C2S (993) to factory original.

Targa Florio in a 911 RSR 1973 car number 9 was Leo Kinnunen from Finland. Winner casr was number 8.

I was never a fan of Porsche until I toured the museum in 2017 while doing my Audi Euro delivery trip. One trip though there will make anyone a Porsche fan, so great to see what’s hidden away outside the main museum. I hope to one day go back.

Even in the mid 90´s there was an ordinary workshop in the factory area in Zuffenhausen , that was open for any Porsche owner. The place looked like any workshop that repairs cars. People there were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Pity these old days are over now. 😢😢😢
