How to give albumin during paracentesis?? Is necessary during every paracentesis????

While doing paracentesis there are different practices done around the globe.
Decision depends on the amount of fluid removed during paracentesis. If its more than 5 L definitely 25% Albumin should be administered.(Dose 50 ml of albumin for every 2 L of ascitic fluid removed ). If its less than 5 L decision depends upon the renal function and the hemodynamic status of the patient. If stable and normal RFT: +/- Albumin. If rft Impaired(Creat more than 1.3) and you are tapping more than 1.5 L albumin to be administered.
