Seeing your empty tea bag box in the cupboard made me laugh, it reminded me of when my kids were young - I'd find empty cereal boxes, empty milk cartons put back in the fridge, and all sorts of empty containers/boxes in the pantry. It used to drive me potty! Lol 😂 💕
We’re in a 540sq ft apartment, so these declutters are essential! It’s such a good way to review what you have and what you no longer need. Makes you a much more conscientious spender, too.
Where I live, small Red Cross containers are accessible all over the place and they take all textile matter to reuse. Thank you for taking us with you to the places where you drop things of, I have often think that if I were a TH-camr I would do that too :) It really satisfies the need for recycling, I find it so hard to see people throw away big plastic bags of mixed materials, knowing it goes to a landfill.

Jess you did an awesome job. You can tell you're in England just from the type and amount of stuff. Looked just like my kitchen cupboards and other bits in the cupboard. I can totally relate, we've recently moved from a 1 bed flat to a 1 bed house and I has so much stuff to donate and throw out. Sad to hear the animal shelter won't take bedding. I'm really surprised. I thought having a list of things they take was a good idea. Our kennels only accepts towels. No sealed treats, cans or anything. You've inspired me to take a look through my kitchen. Best wishes x
Bit late here, but in the UK it's possible to donate damaged clothing (like your socks) to charity shops. Just mark them as 'rags' and they go into bags for recycling. The charity gets a price per kilo, and the material is used to make other things.
Oh I so need to do my bedroom wardrobe / drawers & dressing table.. I keep putting it off.. I only did it around 8 months ago,. Surprising what we keep & hang on too... You've given me the motivation to get cracking Jess... TOMORROW THEN!! 🤣

I’m so glad that you donated to charity but I would love to ask if possible in future to donate to a different charity than the Samaritan Army as they promote anti LGBTQIA+ rights they even go as far as to refusing volunteers or helping those who “don’t fit with there ideals” aka not straight devout Christian.

Even old socks can be recycled, the clothes banks will take them aswell as the charity shops not to sell on but as rags to be repurposed
