These have all gotten me many compliments. Baccarat rouge 540 edp gets me by far the most and the best compliments next to side effect and oud for greatness.
People stop me all the time for Ysl Y EDP. White, black, women, or even a few men it don’t matter!
I own over 20 fragrances and till date .. my most complimented fragrance is Armaf Club de nuit intense man..
Story time.. I first got this fragrance about 3-4 years ago .I almost gave it away... but then I got a compliment every day that I wore it and decided to keep it.
I was doing some contract work at a house about a year ago and this dude was hitting on me hard and wouldn’t stop talking about how good I smelled.He actually offered to give me a new shirt so I can leave what I had on for him.(no sir!)
Another incident doing contract work and I was just walking towards the house from my van and the homeowner,about 10 feet walking towards me says! “Damn you smell so good “ contract work turn to fragrance talk and she wanted to know what it was to buy for her husband.
About a week ago at my new job , a coworker wouldn’t stop raving about how good I smelled, she would make these mmm moans and rubbed herself on me even when I told her I was married!! I haven’t worn the fragrance to work since then

It's certainly not my favorite, but Layton is one of the few frags that's always guaranteed to get compliments.
I finally took the Dior Sauvage experience and got my very 1st bottle. Got the EDT. I can see why it is popular. It's simple, clean, smells great, and lasts all day. It really isn't anymore complicated than that.
Should of gotten the EDP it’s the jack of all trades I also own elixir which is a very different dna
I was thinking the EDP may be a bit heavy since I live where it is warm...I'm pretty satisfied though

If you like that kind of DNA, try prada luna rossa carbon and compare it to sauvage.

I wear Armani and YSL but the thing that get me the most compliments is the cheapest fragrance I have JOOP 😆

It warms my heart that Layton is #1 . It’s been my favorite fragrance thus far . One day I literally gotten 7 compliments off it. It’s definitely a signature scent for me .

My most complimented : #1 - Club De Nuit Intense (most complimented by FAAAAAR), #2- PDM Layton, #3 - is a tie between JPG Ultra Male and (this may surprise many) Invictus Legend..

I’d add Ysl y le Parfum that one is just definitely rich and smells like the greenest apple note you’ve ever smelled at least the opening.

Not surprised at all with the no 1 spot. Parfums de Marly Layton is a unique smell or dna. I can't compare it to anything. So when someone smells it, they will definitely question.
Layton number one! 100% agree, maybe the only fragrance from everything I smell that everyone will like!

I would have thought Oud for Greatness would have ranked higher. I have to shake the women off me when I wear that.

Hey BTFG today my SOTD IS Original vetiver BUT I made a mistake and pick up one of my decants of BLACK PHANTOM and sprayed it so I just layered it with original vetiver and it actually was surprisingly good I was shocked 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but I got several compliments today just figured I would share 🤣🤣

If you really want compliments, pineapple Vintage intense is the best on the market. More unsolicited compliments than any of my 100 or so colognes combined. I’m quite sure Kevin Samuel had a similar experience in one of his videos. Don’t sleep on this scent and thank me later.
For me it's overwhelmingly Rasasi Shuhrah. Like it's not even funny how much ahead it is, summer or winter never fails me. This is one question very easy to answer for me for Shuhrah. Note, I layer shuhrah with rose musk oil a lot of the times but even without it I get compliments

Most complimented = mass appealing = most affordable (for most). You mentioned 3 houses Bond/Xerjoff/ TFORD ….you’re talking $300 per bottle. The average Joe doesn’t have 5 to 15 $300 bottles. The majority of the picks are less than $150. Average Joes aren’t frag heads ordering decants, getting samples, trolling discounters and buying $90 tester
bottles with no caps of $300 fragrances. If he did the same survey but you couldn’t enter unless you owned 30+ bottles the results would be different.

I've gotten compliments on my clothes, and on my fitness routine, and on my artwork. But never in my life have I EVER received a compliment on any fragrance that I've ever worn. Not one...not ever. Still waiting for the first one and I'm almost 60 years old...lol I wear fragrances then because I like them and they make me feel good. I wear Bleu De Chanel, Azzaro Wanted By Night, The Blazing Mr. Sam, Dior Sauvage, YSL La Nuit De I'Homme, and Spice Bomb Extreme....and still, nothing. I even tried increasing the number of sprays. With my luck, I'll finally get that compliment, and it will be from a frickin' guy.
Your problem is the designer fragrances only last 30 mins on your skin. After 60 yrs, save up and purchase the big man scents in the niche category.
@@kgright Your point both makes sense, and at the same time does not make much sense. I've never heard of anyone saying that Bleu De Channel or Spicebomb Extreme lasts only 30 minutes. Both are known as high " compliment getters." So are the other fragrances I listed. If everyone else mentioned that they are not getting compliments from these fragrances, then I would totally back your point. I really can't smell the any fragrance that I put on my neck after 20 minutes....so I don't know.
Spray more. Two sprays isn't going to get it done especially with the ones you listed

To be real with you man! I love my Dior , YSL , and Versaces! However, a hit for me with the compliments is Jimmy Choo man and Jimmy Choo man Intense! I know that might sound wild! However, that is real shit!

am fresh, woodsy, and spicy lover when it comes to my fragrances. So, when a fragrance is more food, desert, or to sweet smelling I get turned off. Don't get me wrong I have Tom Ford Oud Wood in my collection and Burberry London. Which are not as fresh and spicy gow I usually like. However, I do mess with them. However, when I go to smell fragrances like azzaro wanted or wanted by night. The overly sweet fragrances turn me off. Maybe thats because I am to used to wearing more fresh, spices, and woodies. However, any advice how to dive into more scents like that which you seem to propose sometimes?

Layton at #1 is a surprise. I don't particularly like the smell. YSL is my top complimented fragrance.

As much as people praise Layton in fragcom. I have NEVER smelled this on anyone in person. I wore it to my homies wedding rehearsal that I was in and just about everyone wanted to know what it was and where they can get a bottle.

Bow Tie...out of ALL the fragrances I own & I have all the frags you mentioned except 4, with well over 200 bottles, THIS CHEAPIE brings the most compliments! Ajmal BLU‼️For the life of me I just don't understand that. 🤦🏿 It beats out all my heavy hitters. And another one I have by Armaf Le Parfait.

I had so many compliments with “hot always” bond no9, from females, males, old and young people. Unfortunately is discontinued. If you know a similar one please share. Givanchy gentleman similar but just last 1 hour. ‘Hot always’ lasts 12 hours
Tuscan Leather ftw!! But perhaps that’s because it’s my signature scent so it has more opportunities to be complemented!! Ngl, Versace Eros and Invictus Legend get compliments too, but they are kind of played out so I wear them less. I’m heavy on my TF collection
