That was an awesome show I was there too with my friend Johnny and my brother Michael . We were in a yes tribute band called Roundabout with Jon at one time.
Dude! Thanks for creating a shared, vicarious experience for us! Everything from that cool lounge, to the merch, to the Dean exhibit, to the awesome concert vids of the show itself. So happy for you and everyone there! I will see YES 8/19 in Ft. Worth, co headlining with Deep Purple. Got a center section aisle row 15 seat on the Floor. Can’t wait. But before that, got a front row seat, just feet away from Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks, in Phoenix at the Celebrity Theater on 8/14! Thanks again for your great YES video.
I think the music got better, fuller, richer as the show went on, from your vid. Even heard you or someone say “love that guy now”! regarding Davidson. Davidson gave you some nice smiles too. Very nice! Loved the adulation you all gave them at the end, and their basking in it.
@@TKrehearsal I'm ok with the memories of the fifteen times I've already seen them, except for the last two shows. I never expected Toto to be that much better than Yes.
PS: I think you got a pure spirit re your positive responses to the very opinionated comments that people often have when it comes to a band that has been around as long as YES has. I understand, and they may be valid, but we can still love and enjoy a show regardless! After all, that’s Steve Howe, man!!
@@TKrehearsal if you think they sounded good ?? there all in different directions they are definitely not tight the harmony's are way of then buddy you do not know MUSIC
Lol.... Others can watch the vid & judge for themselves as you have. Music is subjective, not much to know. It either pleases your particular set of ears or it doesn't. I personally thought the energy level was kinda low, and the harmonies were not amazing, but not bad in my opinion. Of course there is no comparing this line-up to YES in it's prime, but considering I never got the chance to see them live, this is all I got.... & I had a great time!
Steve Howe is member who helped turn Yes into the true progressive band they are except for their passing we would still have Chris and Alan in the band they are missed, they still sound great, Yes lives!
I don’t understand how people waste their money on this cover band. This is a disgrace. Three original members and not one in this lineup. Steve Howe is absolutely a fantastic guitarist, why is he doing this nonsense. Is he strung out for cash?
steve howes yes cover band is a disgrace. that singer is just awful. weak bass player and a drummer who acts like he never heard of yes music. dont believe me? compare this garbage to the ARW concerts of a few years ago
I'm sorry. Steve has the right to play Yes music if he wants to, but thus sounds weak compared to Yes in the past. I'd rather pay to see Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks than this.
Chris Squire chose Billy Sherwood as his replacement. Alan White chose Jay Schellen. Mad respect to both! And fyi, Sherwood is a multi-instrumentalist and great vocalist. Good songwriter as well. Saw them in May in Vienna, loved every minute of it. Would I have preferred to see Jon Anderson? You bet. But Davison has been touring with these folks since 2012. Geoff Downes has been touring with Yes off and on since 1980. And Steve Howe - legendary! Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
The vocal harmonies between Davidson and Sherwood just don't sound like Yes should sound. They aren't the correct timbre. Davidson got away with sounding enough like Anderson when Squire backed him up, but Sherwood just doesn't make it work for my ear.
If Steve Howe & Jon Anderson could figure out a way to get along, they could be playing small arenas instead of small theatres. My 2 cents.... Thx for watching.
Jon just recently has said he hopes Steve would play with him and the Band Geeks in London soon on their tour there. Steve has said repeatedly over the years, no way. But maybe this time .... one can hope.
@@michaelgrossman5913 needs to get with the real YES guys not these guys there horrible if anyone say s these guys are yeas better have your earing checked
@@TKrehearsal Sorry TK. These guys are NOT "old school" by any measure. They are a well equipped cover band. That's it. Steve Howe isn't even an original member of Yes.
Bands like this just remind me of how old I'm getting. It is very sad to see my age in my musical hero's.
I've seen YES. More times than any other live act. THAT is not YES!
Would you rather they just quit and folk like me would never have gotten to see Steve & Alan & Chris?
That was an awesome show I was there too with my friend Johnny and my brother Michael . We were in a yes tribute band called Roundabout with Jon at one time.
Members of one Yes tribute band saw another Yes tribute band...

A mere shadow of the great band they once were.
Can't argue with you there but I'll take what I can get..... Thx for the comment

That's not Yes, it's Steve Steve Howe playing Yes songs......
Yeah.... but at least there is 1 original member, Foreigner has none! Thx for the comment.
Foreigner isn't comparable to Yes by any measure.
Sorry but there is no original members.
Sorry, my bad.... Howe joined the band back in 1970 and was an integral part of the song writing from that point forward.
Steve Howe is member who helped turn Yes into the true progressive band they are except for their passing we would still have Chris and Alan in the band they are missed, they still sound great, Yes lives!
Of course this is not 💯Original YES but I like these tunes up to U people😀
There's YES fans who would live to see this performance. It sounds good. Keep on rockin' !!!!
We had a great time hearing those old tunes live.... Thx for watching.
Definitely I am one. You are so lucky.
Dionysian top!!!!
put "horse" "flogging" "dead" "a" into a sentence
Maybe so.... but it was cool to hear those old songs live one more time. Thx for watching.
Lethargic as they are.
Not Yes without Jon

Poor Steve. Constantly trying to get the rude audience to STFU.
Lol.... Even in this video, Steve yells at a fan for filming him during the intro of Roundabout. Take a look if interested.
