Also, I could be wrong, but I doubt prickly pear cactus and saguaro cactuses were alive 65 million+ years ago. Also, T-Rexes were NOT LIONS. They were closer to birds and crocs.
You are probably right! Science suggest trex was pack hunting as a family but not as multiple brothers as they mark territories. But this series isn’t out to be as realistic as possible when it comes to relation, but more of a cool story brining the mapogo legends back as dinosaurs.
Awesome video, Dr. Alan Grant. I loved how you brought the dynamics between Mr. T and Ruster to life! The contrast in their personalities really added depth to the story. Can't wait to see more content from you. I smashed that thumbs up button on your creation. Keep up the fantastic work!
@@AlanGrant93 Heh, it certainly has the same sort of tones at any rate! Seems very apt, in more than one sense. It even said his name was "David", didn't it?!
Do a series exploring the various animals the brothers would have to encounter or hunt, perhaps having the brother traverse the known territory of T-rex, and maybe swimming across a narrow part of the inland sea that used to split North America. And if the journey would be too long for the brothers, include a romance and another generation. This is one of the most well-animated series demonstrating the life of rex as an animal.
I love the detail in the animal movements… very naturalistic. Textures and camera angles seem pretty good as well. Maybe the rendering/motion is a bit too crisp & jerky at times to match prehistoric planet, but very good job overall.
Thank you this helped with my research to make a sanctuary in JWE2 in my north part I'll have 2 male trexes and I needed to see if they would co exist together
Awesome production thank you. I doubt they would have destroyed their prey herd however. Nature in balance doesn’t exterminate its prey, only take the easier ones, allowing the others to reproduce.
An Edmontosautus fighting back? That's incredible! I think, based on what I know, that Edmontosauruses could actually fight back a bit. If I am wrong, feel free to correct me.
I stumble on this by chance. I’m glad I did. after a minute or Lee I was hooked. I only had time at watch Chapter 1 but I plan on Watching all 6 of them. I’ve never seen anything like this. I feel like I’m engaged with the different dinosaurs in real time. I’m right there 60-70 million years age. Great job in doing this.🤙🦖💥
Finally a piece of paleomedia where a hadrosaur fought back. And rightfully so, Edmontosaurus were some of the biggest non-sauropod dinosaurs out there, so I do suppose they fought off a Rex or two. Lovely doc as always!
One percent of the animals that lived then had their remains saved as fossils for creatures who didn’t yet exist would, in the remote future, find them. The brains that piloted those formidable forms through their Eden of a world are long gone. But those two did exist, and they knew it. That much is unimpeachably true.
OK, there's one major issue with this, and that's the vegetation. There should be no grass at all: flowering plants had only just evolved, and grasses didn't make an appearance until the middle of the Cenozoic.
Absolutely right but some things just can’t be edited since some trees comes with vegetation and gotta add something in order to bring the things I want .. so the films won’t be completely accurate .. well.. no documentary is probably 100% accurate anyways hehe. Thanks for the feedback!
Sadly not with the story as the one horned triceratops is a mod and wanted them to look exactly the same. If I didn’t wanna make a fight scene with an injury. I would most certainly mod the triceratops more!

With how well done this is, especially regarding movement of the animals, instead of going absurdist with rex just senslessly slaughtering everything, why not invite people to experience the concerns of the animal, more like the book "Raptor Red", but with these rex bro's? They would probably avoid the front of Triceratops, and yet evidence suggests they still attacked fully grown Triceratops from the side or behind, and alone as you have shown here. I'd imagine rex attacking a lone Triceratops, biting the frill, ... and even with all rex's strength, being unable to break it, or twist the Triceratop's head enough to snap it's head, so it would likly give up and leave.
No hunting animal gives its position away just before a hunt by roaring. I wish film makers would stop doing this. The silent stalking gives a much more suspenseful narrative anyway.

that has never been confirmed
they more then likely would see eachother as competition as they grow older then take care of eachother
