I know this was 8 months ago. but
I fought getting it right for two months. and all I was trying to do was a 6x9 sketchbook. finally figured out I needed to do my own interior. took three hours at Starbucks. but. just this morning
got my. FIRST. published book

Thank you so much for explaining how to set the margins I keep getting my books returned and now I know why. This was the best explanation I have seen. So helpful.
So basically - choosing bleed for this exact measurement book allows you to have perfectly even margins on all sides, and therefore you don't have to worry about left page vs right page. That's a nice trick. this was an awesome example of how to calculate everything and how you check the borders! Thank you!! 🤗
That’s exactly why I did that, since this tutorial is for beginners. It’s faster and you avoid unintentional issues.

It feels and looks really nice. I was wondering how i managed to get everything so even LOL. I used the matte finish - do you like matte or glossy better?

This was very easy and simple to follow but yet you went out of your way and took your time to explain it well. There's an auto setting for margins under "File" on the upper left Canva screen
That is not right margins... But there is ruler now. 📏
