Another method for thin copper-wire with the use of your soldering-iron is also shortly shown.

Does it also work on the small 0.3 mm wire you have ?, would be nice to show that also.
Yes. 0.3mm is about the limit for this type. There are other available from Knipex for thinner or thicker wires.
But what do you do when you want to strip the whole spool not just a one cm or or two? Every video I've seen so far goes only for the end of the wire, but nobody showed how to remove the enamel from a wire spool or the big wire round that you have on your table. Still searching...
The whole spool? Why did you want to do that? Then you would have a spool of unisolated copper wire in the end which you can get easier by buying blank copper wire.
You could try chemical dissolvents like acetone, chloroform etc. Even hot water could work.
Try to google "polyurethane solvent"
Recycled copper wire is used in jewelry and why would you want to buy unisolated copper wire when you can recycle in many cases for free? Most tutorials on removing enamel from wire are useless if you want to remove more than a few centimeters and not wasting your life doing it.
I'll search for polyurethane solvent but until now acetone and a lot of paint removers are useless.
You asked the reason that you would buy a new spool rather than wasting time stripping off the enamel from magnet wire? The answer is obvious, surely. If you want to recycle wire for jewellery, then use normal copper wire with PVC or rubber insulation, since that is easier to strip.
Checkout old videos to strip enamel using CausticSoda + Salt & heat.
Put it in a good wood fire lol
I made a video a while back called 'Best Way to Strip Magnet Wire'. It's a chemical method for large wires or nyleze and imid coated fine wires that cannot be stripped using other methods.
Interesting alternative.
He uses a torch to melt lye and salt molten hot and dips the end of the enamelled wire in it. Not a very good method.
Might use cosmetic tweezers for stripping the enamel mechanically.
Ich bin auch deutsch😂
i guess a fingernails cutter could work pretty much the same
I don´t think so because you don´t cut anything but scrape the coating off with this stripping-tool.
The only other method I know of is to sand the coating off with sand paper.
