I think the interviewer spoke more than the guest. She should have stayed with asking the questions and then let Ms.burrell elborate.

It's unfortunate she wasn't an inspiration to that lady who just wanted to sing a song of praise to her Lord and Savior. And why are so many people who call themselves followers of Christ validating a clear violation of Scripture. She nor any other woman is a legit pastor. It doesn't take away from being a blessed woman of God, but the Lord has already established His standards and commands to be followed through His 13 Apostles. I just don't understand why we try to justify committing sin.

That's BS. If you desire to know the truth about that, I suggest you read "Who Said Women Can't Teach" by Charles Trombley who uses Scripture and common sense to back it up.

@patriciaburgess4257 I wanted to be fair and research Charles Trombley's position concerning this particular matter. Lord knows this is a very great issue in the Body of Christ. Upon my comparison of Scripture and the words of Charles Trombley, I will give a sincere response.

@patriciaburgess4257 Before I make my reply, I want to say that my overall hope is that the truth of Scripture ends up being the final authority and that everyone who names the Name of Christ depart from evil (even the very hint of it). What do I mean by this? I mean that if the authors of God's inspired word are clear on how the Body of Christ should function in a corporate setting, why are we now trying to change it? That being said, Mr. Charles Trombley was skilled hustler in my opinion, almost like the Deceiver in the east side of Eden. The whispers of deceit sounded good and pleasant to our first Mother's ears. No Scripture doesn't forbid our Sisters in Christ to share the Good news of Christ to the lost or to work in ministry outside of being a pastor, however according to Scripture Women are not authorized to teach or leading a man. This is the Lord's standard and order. This is why we all should study the Scriptures ourselves and ask the Lord for understanding so we won't be misled.

      Why are u here then??

    • @Gabe2smooth4

@@imsoooslepton4641I assume by your comment that only the ones that you agree with are welcomed right? I'm not shocked to see so many people idolize others, and yet place Christ on the shelf. Because of our fallen nature we hate truth, we love sin, and we despise God's written word. Self is our god. The Good News of Christ Jesus gets lost in our desire to be entertained. Don't you agree that the salvation of one's soul is more important than compromising ourselves for a temporary high of fame and fortune? So I'm here pleading with anyone who understands what I'm trying say because I do care about the human condition of a person's heart. I pray that you too will understand my concern and search the Scriptures with a pure heart.
