With a self-balancing balloon system that also enables consisting turning and thrust controls, plus wrecking balls and bungee saws swinging around, it's is definitely a one-of-a-kind creations that you'll only see on a channel like this!

About the game:
Instruments of Destruction features an advanced physics-based destruction system. You can demolish every structure in the game piece by piece. In addition, every object you see in the game world--save for small decorative plants and rocks--is part of the physics system. Each element of the world interacts with each other and together they create a physical, visceral world to play with.
Build Your Vehicle
Build a vehicle your way, with an ever-expanding array of parts and pieces. Using an intuitive vehicle construction system that also lets you customize your vehicles' appearance and controls, you'll always have fun creating your next awesome invention.
From simple splitters to advanced joints, a variety of parts slowly unlock as you play through the game, and each unlocks countless new possibilities.
While some vehicles will perform better than others in accomplishing your objectives, it's always a bit more fun to get creative and go a little off script. Optional bonus challenges and objectives will reward more creative builders and add more replayability.

Idea: Build the heaviest solid foot/block and put enough balloons to lift it into the sky
Then fly over a building and deflate the balloons.

Overengineering idea for SM - to build a spud gun radar action vehicle that breaks burned trees into ember with spuds so you could vacuum it

Hmmm, I'm wondering can you replicate this idea but rotate it 90 degrees so its kind of like a spinning, flyable destructive UFO? With the centred swivel point. May have problems with counter-rotation though?
Magnet. . . fishing hook. . . turret.
Basically, a stationary cannon, that fires a magnet, that's attached to a bungie to real back into the cannon and reload. . . magnet fishing! =D

Picked up this game because of you and now I can't get enough! I spend hours in survival not necessarily progressing, but building continuously and endlessly. I only progress so I can build more!
You should TOTALLY do a black hole launcher. It launches magnet balls and since you can "remote controlling" them, activate the launched magnet ball when it completely inside a building and watch the building crumbles from the inside.
or launch an actual cluster of magnets into the building and watch it collapse on itself

If you adjust the suspension you can make it more "round". You want to soften the high points and strengthen the short parts

The comment about the water being a non-nutonian fluid makes me think it would be cool to see some kind of water vehicle in this game.

Here’s an idea: Build a magnet-powered particle (steel ball) accelerator and see how fast you can launch it!
Take your monowheel, turn it horizontally, double it up, glue it to the front of a vehicle and you essentially have 2 giant saw blades in the front of a car
Have the rotation spinning to the sides of vehicle to push debris out of the way.
I think a race with wheels might be fun, yeah just wheel car racing. Yes a drivable wheel.

ScrapMan! You should make an animation like your "DELAYED ANNIHILATION" but instead its "SATISFYING"
idea to add: extremely heavy block(10 tons), magnetic block(stays attached to creation), creative overdrive(control speed, strength, ect without limits, works with every part, even with things like rope, only in creative), high friction block
You should make a working Rubik’s cube in SM
This creation will be a fine addition to your collection.
Can you build the ZIL-2906?
On the the same rotating axis the balloon is on, add a bunch of weight on the opposite side, thus preventing it from jumping over buildings and keeping it more balanced.
kind of hard to tell, and my school days are kinda far, but I think when you apply a force on a rotating object it is offset by 90 degrees. So when you try to turn while spinning it actually makes you tilt. I'd love to see you delve into that! Otherwise, pretty neat!
Vsauce has a video covering spinning wheel physics, and from what I remember from it, he sure does agree
Imagine if teardowns destruction ran as good as the destruction in this game did
How about building the "stabilisation" device (inside) the wheel? You could easily shorten that strut that connects to the balloon. Could also reduce the number of balloons to one, since it would be perfectly centered. Could even hook up the thrusters to that structure. Then you build the wheel around all that. It "should" be more stable and easier to control this way. Will have more mass and will also make it easier to add more weapons. :)
Scrapman, I really like your videos. I have a suggestion, maybe do a TerraTech walkthrough, I remember you mentioning it in your first Trailmakers video.

I think that with how good this game is, scrapman cannot think of crazy enough ideas so it'll take more than 20 minutes to perfect it for a full vid.

I stared at that suspension block for so damn long because it was misplaced.
Build a boat! I think with the water physics, you could totally make a speedboat that sails super fast and then crashes into the buildings on land. Like in the Angry Birds movie, I guess. Though it might be less cool if you associate it with that.
Imagine how much destruction could be caused if Scrapman made his wrecking ball wheel into a giant horizontal spinner and basically just built a big base around the wheel.
#Earlygang this time i will ask a build for instruments of destruction. Make a mech that can go up And down Depending of the size of the bulding, enough to reach the top of the tallest towers, next add ALOT of charge bombs at the bottom. Its basicly a ground bomber. If so. Add overdrives to the bottom. Also add some detail and of course... ADD WEDGES FOR PROFFESIONAL ANNIHILATION at the top. Do this after monday. I hope you like this idea scrapman!
You should make a bucket wheel excavator in this game
Since this game stimulates physics so well, you could take advantage of the fact that it is a gyroscope and put the turning at the top and bottom instead.
Idea: Build a sideways rocket where you point yourself at a building and launch forwards with a lot of thrusters.
Insane Idea: What if you try and make a flying disk that has sawblades all over it. So you can fly into buildings and saw through them. So in other words it would be a giant flying sawblade.
This game is Always satisfying

I was gonna say something about adding the heavy foot opposite of the balloons on the stabilisation thing to make it more effective, but now I see that it can drive on water, I change my mind, it works as it is.
Wassup scrapman i have a suggestion on this game for you, what if you build a beyblade that has magnets on it, like while spinning, they will attract objects then reverse, it would be cool to see it, anyways, thanks for the everyday vids, its making my day better than usual, keep doing it, bye :D

Idea: create a thing that drive or goes on the water
I would have stopped at the 9 minute mark, added the over clockers to the rockets that spin the wheel (and make it toggled) and made the forward thrusters separate controls so it's not all or nothing allowing you to actually control it a bit better and give more time to just lay into a building. Maybe add reversed thrusters too so you can back up or hold still.

Idea: Make a machine that launches a big sawblade that slides on the ground like a Bey Blade for a video.
Make a suspension mug that when you're close to a building, it releases the suspension and destroy the building.
when the map editor releases (and hopefully paddles / wings too), make a version of this which just... spins way faster, then attach wrecking balls on bungees in... 8 to 16 places... and test this thing on a map with literally just buildings on water and nothing else. see if you can drive on water first...
When you are turning a spinning disc, you should put them 90 degrees behind the direction of spin. Like you said at 7:00 the gyroscopic spin has an effect on the turning, so you should try to put them at the highest and lowest points on the wheel Please let him see this.
you should try to build a paddle boat using the weird water physics.
Idea: I'f you made a monowheel , how about you make a bike of destruction. Kinda like ghost riders bike however with explosives and thrusters exept for the usual fire.
The turning was like drifting , so you can also make a drifting vehicle

For another episode of the failed history things you should totally build the CL-1201. I'd recommend scrap mechanic since it is rather large, but you could try in trailmakers too, in a smaller scale.

Your turning problem is caused by gyroscopic precession, you need to apply the force 90 degree in advance, that is why it is tilting instead of turning when you apply the force at the front/back.
To turn left and right you need to apply the force at the top (for forward motion )
idea: you should try building a vehicle that skims or rolls across the water

Rules:
-the build must have at least 5 magnets
-the shooting mechanic must be involved with magnets
-no big cannons nor small cannons, only wrecking balls
Pin or heart this if challenge is accepted
go back to just the wheel with the wrecking balls, but reverse the direction of spin. the forward thrusters will now have to overcome the friction of the wheel but when it hits a building it will dig in rather than ride over.
I think you need to revisit your Clapper from trailmakers....

Scrapman, I got an idea. Make a beyblade and surround it with magnets facing outwards and use thrusters to rotate it. Use a swivel to cancel out the beys rotation and place another swivel on top of it and place some thrusters to use for changing directions (in instruments of destruction)

Multiplayer Monday idea, car basketball. You build cars that can throw balls through hoops and you do a 2v2 with 2 hoops. This is in scrap mechanic.
