I'm just glad this movie didn't turn out to be a CGI-heavy, artificial looking, and over-the-top goofy "masala" film. The characters have life, the dynamics are intense & have room to breathe, there are no unnecessary jokes, the cinematography & color-grading looks gorgeous and the SFX is hauntingly badass. I've never seen Ranbir THIS intense before. Vanga has my respect!

I have a theory. Rashmika's character says Ranbir is fighting ghosts in his head which means he may be delusional and it is getting worse with time. That over the top gatling gun scene could be one indication. Secondly, Bobby Deol's character may be an alter ego of Ranbir's character (hint: last shot) Fight Club style. Maybe the alter ego shows Ranbir's hate repressed hate for his father. Also, the Nazi-esque references are very provocative.
