Are Chaldean and Assyrian the same language? On Amazon there is a book that teachs Chaldean. Will I be understood among Assyrians and Chaldeans if I learn Chaldean? I thank who helps me with this doubt!
It is the same language. We are one Assyrian nation with many dialects because of how we have been separated through times. Chaldean is the name of one of our churches, every person from that church does not even speak the same. There are so many ways to speak our beautiful language but the name of it is Assyrian

There is no difference. One label is in relation to a church denomination that Assyrians belong to and the other label is our ethnicity.
