    The deli cup method is my favourite to catch fry and small fish. Thanks Lucas. Getting back after redoing my fish room and renovating.
    It's amazing how much natural aquariums are getting into mainstream hobby in the short time I was away. Mother Nature wins out again .😊💚👍🇦🇺

      Type in LRB plant food and/ or try LRB Fertilizer. I have vids on how I make my own E/I solutions. Also when thinking about E/I method think about what’s in your water and how fast your plant types can grow and the size of their biomass to figure potential uptake.

    You ever tried soft wood in your tanks? Like spruce?

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven’t tried spruce due to potential resins not that I think they would really be a problem but haven’t tested it. I have tried other soft woods were are great supplements for plecos and shrimp to eat on.

      @@LRBaquatics up north here in canada it's a well known survival tactic to make tea out of spruce if you're stuck in the woods. I haven't tried it in a tank yet but I might some time. I've used soft wood I've found on the beach before with success, I'm just not sure what the tree sap would do.

    Just a little bit of constructive criticism, You need to stay focused on your desk until you complete its construction and then move and finish the next project. One project at a time. 🙌🏼❤️👍🏼

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I did that things wouldn’t get done. It’s like of your constructing a house you plan your projects to perform in an orchestration to save time in the long run of the project. Even getting parts for certain projects can take time so might as well have things to do while other processes are moving through the pipeline. Fluidity.

    Poor Lucas. You need a helper. Maybe 2 🤔. So many projects and only 2 hands to do them. My Mama always told me many hands make light work. Or some shit like that. Yeah, get you a couple of helpers. So that white stuff growing in the tanks, that won't hurt the fish? Cause someone told me that it would. And that I needed to get it out right away. So we're they just throwing out advice that they knew nothing about?

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics ปีที่แล้ว

      No worries for me, I enjoy the journey. It teaches me a lot. Your mama was wise for its true. Thats why Lady LRB and I have been trying to find another woman or two who enjoys peace love plants aquariums nature. As they say it takes a village. Im also not going to build it if I cant handle it. Will be really easy to operate it all once its all organized and settled which is becoming more sooner than later day to day.
      White stuff that grow on old food can be harmful but that thick biofilm looking stuff is actually food for many fish with no issues from them eating it. It occurs commonly from new driftwood as well.

    • @LRBaquatics

      Bad molting. To fix if Neocaridina add hardness if caradina add acidity lower TDS around 160-180. If cloudy body could be a bad bacteria that causes muscular necrosis. To fix use general cure and or wait for aquariums to become more mature, natural, and not sterile. Biologically sound water is key and can even fix that problem of the bad bacteria naturally. Hope this helps.
