Following the standards....The Watchtower Standards are the Standards they are talking about. To remain in a relationship with God, ie. The organization loyalty has to be at the top of the list.
We must ask how many times have they changed these bibles? How many churches have their own bible? What is true? If there's 1 God should there be one belief?
Christians use dozens, even hundreds of Bibles. But they all contain the same essentials. Essential Christianity can be summed up in 2 or 3 paragraphs. Less than one page. Check out the Creed that unites at least 95% of all the 2 1/2 billion souls who call themselves Christian. @straight-narrow-path The Bible helps us to appreciate that if we are of the Spirit we know no man by the flesh. The Bible shows if we live by the flesh we will die. John 10:30 Matthew 5:48 John 10:34-35 2 Corinthians 5:16 Romans 8:13
@bretherenlee1404 the flesh and spirit are separate , the wages sin pays is death to the flesh and everybody dies but the spirit is born again when we believe on the finished work of Christ. Our spirit will receive a new body.
Well Jesus himself said...Jerusalem Jerusalem... how of I wanted to cover you as a hen cover her chicks.... But you did not want it.... He didn't say I abandon you totally...... But until you say blessed is the name of the one sent... My question is ....will that happen in the existence of the devil ....or will it happen when the devil is out of the way?? ...when mankind regain their sanity..... and the subjects of that covenant now start to realize that they are quote and quote naked(without the God of their forefathers)??
Comparing Daniel 11, Zechariah 12-14 & Revelation 19-20, we conclude that the nations' assault on Jerusalem, the Antichrist's worldwide desolations, the conversion of much of Israel and the destruction of 2/3 of the nation, will all happen BEFORE the binding of Satan. What other scenario would better explain the simultaneous ascendancy of pure evil, and the arrival of Yahweh upon the Mount of Olives?
@@davidvivianaspinall3498 Quite reasonable .... It would seem that Satan now realize that there is inevitable defeat and become very angry.... That's why Revelations chapter 12 would say "Woe for the earth and for the sea"
@@davidevans9992 According to the Bible, Paul was accused of violating the temple by bringing a Gentile into the temple, but he was innocent of the charge. Gentiles were permitted no further than the outer courtyard of the Jerusalem temple. Since Paul himself was allowed to enter the inner courtyard of the temple he must have been recognized as a jew by his co-religionists.
@@davidevans9992 Originally you asked if Paul "was" (past tense) a Jew. And now you state that Paul does not qualify to to a Jew by current standards, which is a different matter.
Thank you for explaining this concept of a unilateral covenant. I really had no idea. Guys I learn so much from you.
Glad you profited by this discussion, Anna.
Such very good points! Thank you David and Vivian ❤️🙏🏻

If we could live up to a sinless righteous existence, Jesus died in vein
