I think I recall seeing "Infinite hand vs No hand" before.... just noticed a second parallel with Osiris (Slifer's OG namesake) being the Egyptian ruler of the dead, and Kalin being a "grim reaper" that was once a super sophisticated Zombie. Almost like Marik thought Osiris would be pissed at Kalin's revival and sent Strings out so that "Osiris" could drag him back to the dead.
A Duel between one who relies on having a lot of cards in his hand vs one who relies on having no cards in his hand. A interesting match up.
