  • The 3.3v to NAND only draw 90mA. So the power is directly from the u-Link NAND.
    Program the openWRT on MR33 only need to replace the u-boot (2012 version) and ubi. The process is easy and fast.(about 10 min)

    Will this process work on a MR34 AP?
    Same firmware will work?
    If not, do you have the firmware available that would?

    I found time to watch the video. It's great! I have a few questions for you.
    - Are you holding the Power to the UART Connection, while flashing the chip? IT was still connected to the pins, so I need to ask.
    - You are flashing the chip without desoldering. Most people recommend to desolder it. Is there no risk of doing it, without desoldering?
    Thanks for a great video 😀

      And oh, maybe add information about the programmer in the details too, including which hardware you've used. That would be helpfull, too.

    • @usbbdm
      @usbbdm  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. When programming the UART is not powered on. Power is from u-Link NAND. It only draws 90mA 3.3v.

    • @usbbdm

      If you have the right u-boot you can do it via UART. The problem is the new u-boot blocks the UART.
