Hi Tom. Great video loving the drone shots. That Unimog looks a bit overloaded to me. You are meant to have 2/3 of the weight on the hitch and 1/3 on the front or the other way around. So you could attach a weight block on the three point or you could mount a weight block on the dim plate. 2/3 on the front or 1/3 on the back. Balances the Unimog out.
DJI will repair (replace) for free even without care refresh package if its proved to be a software fault. From the video it should be covered (dji have access to the flight logs).

I have the DJI mini 3 and was going to suggest you disable the maximum distance if your filming while on the move. Also make sure it upfates the home point before take off. Otherwise it might try to fly back to where it was last time. When it does that it will fly upto the set altitude that might be too high out the box. You can change all of these settings. Go to the 3 dots on the top right to find all of those settings. Hopefully it comes back better than ever and you can get some good footage because the cameras are excellent on them 👍

I've been thinking about getting a mini 4 pro, am put off now my mini 3 has never given a problem (famous last words). They are supposed to automatically land softly when the battery goes low, I think if the GPS fails they do crash land though.

I've heard a number of people say they've had the same issue with the dji mini 4. The ship happens youtube channel had the same problem with theirs just randomly flying off on its own and crashing, either they are just built cheap or its a software issue...who knows

Hi Tom, I've had several dji drones over last few years, not sure the sensors like all that dust? But no way should it act like that, The front sensors pointing forward should of stopped it unless maybe you was going to fast for the drone to move out the way which it looked like it never did. Sure dji will sort it for you and be back up and in the air soon.
@@Tomlamb980 at the moment i have the dji avata and the mini3 as of yet i don't have one with front facing sensors, But asked a mate of mine whos got the mini4 like yours and he says it should of moved out the way way before the tractor got close to it.

Ps. Looks like you’re in sports mode. Try moving the switch on the controller to the centre. The avoidance is normally off in sports mode.

I've had more crashes with my Mini4 than did with the first mavic, currently app wont work with may phone so no quick download edit n post for me.
