- Because kids have a big tummy, we need to allocate more to their front waist than the back. Do you know what this does, it gives enough room to their tummy and makes their clothes fit them more.

Goodmorning pls am a learner is there a reason why 5 inch is deducted from the back pattern
Please ma after measure my kid neck

Hi thank you very much for this tutorial. Please if you’re using this pattern as a top how many inches will you add it to the side to make it like a free top or bossy top. Thank you
You're welcome.
For a boxy crop top for an adult, while your fabric is on fold, you can use the bust measurement as the waist measurement. Or you take 1" away from the bust measurement use that on the waist. If you do that, you'll have to add a zipper to enable you wear the top except your using a stretchy fabric.

Hi
Between 0:33 and 0:44 seconds, I displayed the measurements required, even throughout the video. It’s on the paper I was using for drafting.
In addition, I have 2 detailed videos on how to take measurements. Here’s one of them th-cam.com/video/_aU3faW8F9k/w-d-xo.html . Please check it out.
But remember, for kids, we only need about 7 measurements.
