Putting down an animal is the absolute worst! Something you never, ever forget. I've had tonput down all of mine & every time I swear up & down I'll never have another one as the pain is too great. But lo & behold, somehow, & at some point, another one manages to find their way to me and here we go again. All of my animals are in my heart forever & ever. Amen
Never heard about the Rainbow bridge until I watched this today but had just lost a beloved pet so was so timely to hear this great conversation. Thank you all.
One of the best Andy Griffith Show episodes, Mark One of Andy’s great life lessons. You & I are so similar, Scott. I’m in healthcare, but always wants to be a Vet tech I’ve always been the pet ‘euthanizer’; several pets; awful, heart-wrenching experience, but wouldn’t have it any other way.
I'm with you Scott,I'm a huge animal lover, they are my big passion, especially dogs. I've had German Shepherds too. I could never handle being a vet though,I'd be in tears a lot😢

I’m a private investigator,at one time I started to get tired of it........and I kept saying , I want something else.......the good lord me, and my business and job went away ... I ended up living in my car.......for 4 yrs.....now the good lord gave me lic back.....and working on cases in Florida.....so I’m staying a PI.......
I wanted to be either a doctor or a lawyer. Not for the income it would bring but because I love people and wanted to help by either fighting for them (lawyer) or helping them be made whole (doctor). But at 14 I was hit with severe anxiety and depression. This lasted until my early 20's. And because of it I couldn't attend classes to become either of those things. But I'm now fighting for people and also helping them be made whole, because what I went through led me to ministry. I love people so much and I've learned there was a God-Ordained plan. 🙌🙏😇
As a kid, I wanted to be a car designer, as I thought that I had an intuitive sense in designing a car product that people would desire because, a person would would like, because it was a "personality identifier" for them. My favorite toys as a kid, were my matchbox, and hot wheels cars, which I still have, being in my mid 1960's. I chose a career of maintaining swimming pools, like the one behind you, and your friends in your Vlog. I had a pool route in the Hollywood hills, out to Malibu, and Marina Del Rey, sold it, and started it all over again in Arizona. In the words of Maxwell Smart, "and loving it!" I really enjoyed your Vlog reflective on our prospective careers. Scott , you are so fortunate to have such great life friends that you have, is Jason Hervey still around? I met him back in 1988, at my dad's house in Porter Ranch.
Always wanted to be a professional dancer and learn from Paula Abdul. As a child, was allowed 1 after-school activity. It was dance classes or Girl Scouts. Chose Girl Scouts because that's where my friends went. Loved it, but wish I could've taken dance classes too. It's the absolute worst to have to put down a beloved pet. Two family cats. Never again.
Wow that brought back a memory for me and my sister. We sold packs of seeds door to door and we got a camera as the prize. The company name was The American Seed Company.
Iam a day care teacher. I always wanted to be an actor and in music business. I have sent out a demo tape of me singing my songs. But I would wanted to be in the back ground.
I would have been some sort of an animal, preferably non-domestic ones, caretaker, but not a veterinarian. I just don't have the stomach or interest in caring for these animals from what is underneath their skin. 🤢
Vet was the career I chose in 6th grade. Not the career I path I took. I would be crying when pets get hurt, or pass away. It would be a big mess. My brothers and I would sell the same seeds 😅😅😅😅 All my animals have passed naturally except one german shepherd who was poisoned. One day they will put people down with the same attitude. 😢

A musician's ear is often flawed when listening to another's work for plagiarism. You're on point, George.

attorney, but politician seems to be the best as all you have to do is promise the world, then blame the opposition when things don't work out.

The hardest part of having a dog was playing God at the end of the dogs life
