I have always wanted to read The Electric Forest, but it is VERY hard to find in Australia and I have never come across it. Look forward to hearing what you think of it, if you do read it.
Wow! This sounds so good. I really enjoyed Lee’s Night’s Master so to hear her sci-fi is this good is exciting. I really enjoyed your thoughts on Ringworld (which I love) and actually reevaluated some of my thoughts on Tila Brown.
Thank you - Ringworld was so good! There was so much to think about, so much to say with only limited time. Tanith Lee is kind of the same, there is so much depth to her writing. I really should re-visit Night's Master and the rest of the Flat Earth series too.. Thanks for commenting - I must search out your review for Night's Master.
@@OmnivorousReadersomething I mentioned to Ira is “Midnight at the Well of Souls” by Jack Chalker. It’s also a “big dumb object” 😂 book. It has some wackiness but It was fun, adventurous, and I liked the writing.
@ I remember I read Midnight at the Well of Souls years ago and liked it. I don't actually remember anything about it though. I don't own it anymore either, so it might be a long time until I can re-read.
Design your own body, eh? I’d make a joke but that would be low hanging fruit… like an oversized banana that sinks to the ground. Joking aside, thanks as always for your review!
Joke by all means... I would argue that between botox, implants and eyelashes the size and weight of metal cables, we are already heading in that direction.
Great to see you doing a collab with Ira - look forward to seeing it :)
I haven't read any Tanith Lee yet but I've been recommended The Electric Forest a few times. Interesting reviews as always!

Planning to read this book next. Only recently started reading Tanith Lee, but I've enjoyed everything by her so far. Very unique reads!
Excellent, come back and tell me what you thought when you finish. She is indeed, unique. So many different flavours of unique too!

@@OmnivorousReader That's no problem. Something to try again if it crosses your path.
