Rosencrantz and Guildenstern being there just to die for Hamlet's sake is very poetic. In the play they acted as Hamplet's friends, while in fact serving as his evil Uncle's pones. Effectively they themselves don't do anything good for you as a player (cos they aren't on your side, lol), unless you yourself use and sacrifice them to your advantage.
Dude Hamlet is just the absolute coolest character. I think most people are really underestimating and complex and unique and just fun he is. Such an awesome character that i think is definitely stronger than he looks at first glance with a lot of sneaky strengths
hamlet is so fantastically flavor full card names, abilities, the fact that rosencrantz and guildenstern are only there to die for you... I think my favorite card name is outrageous fortune
Love watching your reviews. I am not the best player of this game but I think I could give Hamlet a real red hot go and try to master him! Quick question do you think now would be a good time for restoration games to go back and take a look at a few of their older heroes (mainly King Arthur) and possibly bring out a V2 deck of him to try and make him more competitive? They could almost sell it as a seperate deck you can buy on their website.
Jekyll is a move 2 solo melee fighter whose design ensures he will frequently have dead cards in hand and just might get hurt moving and drawing as he struggles to find key cards in a deck with only 2 copies each. I play him a lot. Naturally, I thought of him right away during this video, but getting him out of novelty tier would probably take a complete redesign.
This set is awesome already preordered! But Hamlet seems like the worst of the bunch. Seems the tiering would be 1.Shakespeare 2. Titania 3. Wayward Sisters 4. Hamlet
Probably the funniest thing about Hamlet is that no matter what ability player chooses - Hamlet takes two damage anyway, just To Be is delayed payment ) Thought for now it seems that the only saving grace for him is Method in madeness, all other cards seem not that great for such a punishing "ability".
@stefanopaolini1345 as I understand, most of the time it is considered as a flaw in competitive, because he "burns" through his deck and can easily overdraw
Exhaustion doesn't do any damage to you if you win the game first. That only applies in matchups where someone has a deck which excels in Exhaustion like Invisible Man or Sherlock
Three copies of Method in the Madness makes it pretty hilarious against that kind of opponent when he just puts his entire hand back on the bottom of the deck and chooses not to draw anything.
Are you just assuming you won't have fun, or is that how your games have been? If you're just assuming, I'd recommend assuming things that are more fun. If that's how your games are playing out, I'd recommend trying a new strategy with Hamlet. The deck did go through playtests. You might just not be seeing the deck the way it's intended to be played yet
Yeah bet lemme just double maneuver and... oh shit he just put eight cards in deck. Alright fine he's gonna exhaust still, just gotta. Shit he did it again. Okay, maybe this time- goddamnit not again. Okay, no worries, maybe I can still- he healed 4. Man I should really approach him, too bad I discarded all of those cards to overdrawing, unlike him. If only I could have done something about this instead of running away all game. But I encourage you to try it :). Have a little faith that the character with an obvious fatigue weakness has thinks to counteract the obvious fatigue weakness.

I mean he can casually put nine cards back into his deck from his hand. That seems pretty nice
Baked Goods: - Sub 35, I think we can definitely do for this one!
Final video length - 35:06
Mission failed successfully!
I tried 😫
hamlet is so fantastically flavor full

Just looking at all the fighters in this set, Hamlet is probably my favorite
You are wrong on the Adventures cards. The rulebook for Adventures says word for word every enemy card is a versatile card
"The play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king."
Watch the movie Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead. It’s hilarious even if you know nothing of the play.
Or watch the play or read it! I performed it! Tom Stoppard is a genius
@@stefanopaolini1345 it’s pretty great

Beeflet 🗣️🔥
Hamlet’s ability is what Jekyll’s ability SHOULD have been…just tweak Hyde’s attack values and BOOM, a competitive fighter

Blood will have blood is a quote from Macbeth😂 why is it here?!?
It's so amazingly thematical that ROSENCRANTZ and GUILDENSTERN are meat shields, puppets 😍😍😍

Sweet
"reverse, respectively" 😂
And he got the Sattler card wrong...😜

But he virtually has always card advantage... He draws double

This seems the less interesting of the new characters, but still really above average
Hamlet seems even weaker than Shakespeare and Titania. Terrible values and peculiar ability. I think he will be in Buffy tier :)
I really don't see how they are not seeing how trash games will looks like with him...opponent just can double maneuver every turn and will win...
