Yes this a great one from the shads...i am 75 now and have been a fan of them way back to the late 50s......the beatles are great but the shads were there right from beginning, and dont forget the great Buddy holly.
I've known about The Shadows for maybe four years now. I 'm still intrigued by their choice of tunes they did. Talented group of guys playing some of the great guitars of that time and they played Show Tunes ? If the Ventures did that they'd never get out of town alive. Just an opinion
I think Bruce's rhythm guitar is in open tuning. Our band used to do this tune many many years ago and I never could get the right " sound " or flavour and I wondered whether it was a different tuning from the norm' .... and now I know.!
This in my opinion is one of the greatest numbers the shadows did........great!

I think he's using the capo on the third fret ( with an " A " shape )..
Only a b-side but brilliant 👍🏻
Thats perfect:-) Thank you
One of my favourite tunes by The Shadows
I think he's using the capo on third fret ( working off the " A " shape ) ...
Hank Marvin is a genius!
Genius, actually…
someone said that was Jet Harris ?? dont think so. Or were they joking ?
Mark Griffiths actually, not Jet Harris. Jet would have been on the original recording.
l like the shadows along time ago now l years about 78 ok
Strange there is no movie clip of this number. A young beautiful girl walking down the road turning head could be goon one.
Bravissimi
is this tool?
What does this mean lol
About time to show the base guitarr man and not always Hank and Bruce. He´s is real good but what is his name?
Jet Harris
***** Thanks for that. Good.
Åsa Wihlborg Drougge

Mark Griffiths actually, not Jet Harris
Jet Harris was the original bass man in 1961 when this was released, but on this video clip it is Mark Griffiths
That's the music!
No need to sing or say something.
i like music where nobody sings
