if I recall, jamie did confirm on the stream when the lunar new year event happened that shards are 100% coming with the umv revamp
so that's pretty epic
the ability patches are also confirmed for the pvp rework, mints are still being debated on

I think umv needs is improved map but sections like this magma section has more chance to get dobo fossil and etc

I got scared when you mentioned the Runic Island upgrades until I remembered that the UMV takes a much shorter time than Runic Island.
